The juice Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Ind, Mia games are locks for wins? Ok so maybe indy is...maybe...but they are gonna be close games. I’d assume we drop one of those 3 games.
jimmy10 Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 No games are a lock. Our performance thus far vs. what so many predicted is proof of that.
MAJBobby Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 You call yourself a playoff team you have to win every on of those games.
row_33 Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 There are no lock wins in the NFL, except the Pats are a lock to take 2 off the Bills shortly.
buffalobloodfloridahome Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 We have to beat the teams that we should beat. I don't care how well we play against the best teams in the league. You have to have 10 wins to get in, maybe get lucky with 9. Loss to Cincinnati and the Jets are hurting us right now. Two teams that are very beatable. Falcons and Broncos have struggled this year making our wins less impressive. Miami is not a team to sleep on when Cutler is on they have the weapons to be dangerous even without Ajayi and that defense can be good at times as well. Jacoby Brissett has played pretty well for Indy they are lacking the defense is all. There is no Gimmies in the NFL (sans Browns LOL)
row_33 Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 All said and done, 5-3 is a good start no matter how you slice it.
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 If there "are no gimmes" in the NFL, then all wins are good wins. None are "less impressive."

You are one of those college fans who whoop it up beating the Sisters of the Poor Teachers College 60-0, and are telling me that beating a conference champion-level rival is the same?
Roundybout Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 I have a hunch by the time we play the fish, they will be ready for the offseason.

uticaclub Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 5-11 is a real possibility, there are no gimmes in the NFL. I hope we go 13-3

WhoTom Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 The TNF game should have been a lock, but the Jets had the key.

Since I was referring to the NFL, no, I am not. But you may need to go back to school and work on your reading comprehension.
