The only reasons the colleges do it is because they want their schools to get exposure over there but I doubt the kids get much out of it. Shoplifting in China, not good, isn't that usually grounds for death by fire squad over there?

Who is stupid enough to take a free trip to a foreign country under the name of their school to steal what is likely the most vapid paid of sunglasses one could imagine? It doesn't matter the crime in Tennessee or Utah or anywhere else. They broke the law in China and these idiots sure could stand to learn a lesson and be an example 1

You should read up on this stuff WAY before if you plan a trip there....

Johnny Hammersticks Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Naive, arrogant kids. Many of us were there at one point in our lives. It's sad that it's so easy to dislike the Ball kids because of their douche canoe of a Father. These kids won't face any serious consequences, although if they did it may be to their benefit in the long run. Although I disagree with the folks clamoring for caning and other extreme forms of punishment. That stuff ain't right, IMHO. Perhaps China could release them with the condition that they lose a year or two of NCAA eligibility. That would sting.
