Gaines have made tremendous progress. They’re both heading in the right direction for Week 10.” 1:09 PM - 3 Nov 2017
ctk232 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Only thing making last night's loss less miserable is the thought of seeing Clay, Benjamin, Matthews, Jones, and Shady all on offense against the Saints. I know Benjamin won't be fully up to speed but that's a healthy list of targets and weapons for our offensive. Glad we'll have Gaines back to help the secondary. If the OL shows up should be a good game and hopefully W.
JohnBonhamRocks Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Best bet to get the season back on track? Health.
SaviorPeterman Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 This offense has a chance to be LARGE down the stretch with a healthy Clay and Benjamin now in the mix. Key is Taylor morphing his game and becoming more like Alex Smith has this year in KC.
Captain Murica Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 This offense has a chance to be LARGE down the stretch with a healthy Clay and Benjamin now in the mix. Key is Taylor morphing his game and becoming more like Alex Smith has this year in KC. Like Alex Smith stated, he's just in "F&*% It" mode at this point.
RyanC883 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 this is fantastic. Adding Benjamin and Clay--along with O'Leary and Zay's improved play (if he is healthy) will help the passing attack and hopefully Dennison's awful running game a ton. keep the saints O off the field
GoBills808 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 If Clay could just improve his blocking he'd be the perfect TE for this offense.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 3, 2017 Author Posted November 3, 2017 If Clay could just improve his blocking he'd be the perfect TE for this offense. Huh? Clay is very good blocker.

SaviorPeterman Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 If Clay could just improve his blocking he'd be the perfect TE for this offense. Advanced metrics have Clay as one of the best blocking TE's in the league.
8-8 Forever? Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 this is the right way to look at things. 5-3 and the whole team pretty much healthy... 10 days to get ready. home game. fired up. get the engines revving
GoBills808 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Advanced metrics have Clay as one of the best blocking TE's in the league. Huh? Clay is very good blocker. I dunno, I don't see it. I haven't looked at the metrics and I could definitely be wrong, I just never saw him as a strong blocker...always thought he'd be that much more effective in playaction if his run blocking was better.
Buffalo Bills Fan Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 (edited) Gaines is huge. Wright has been awful as well poor tackling. More down he is in CB roster the better. Gaines is pretty huge. Front 7 needs to improve. Getting Clay back is huge along with Benjamin playing Hopefully Dennison fix his awful play calling. No more seeing using Tolbert running when down huge or WR (other stuff as well). Edited November 3, 2017 by Buffalo Bills Fan
Matt_In_NH Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Could play does not equate to looking good to play to me. I am more concerned they truly get healthy before coming back. Especially Gaines. He came back too early last time lets not do that again.
Virgil Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Even with those guys out there last night, we lose. Offensive line, defensive pass rush is the issue that isnt getting addressed
Kelly the Dog Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Gaines will be needed badly against Brees and co. I'm pretty excited to see the offense with Benjamin, Matthews, Zay, DT, Clay and O'Leary. It should also open up the running game. Now if we can block...
JPP Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Even with those guys out there last night, we lose. Offensive line, defensive pass rush is the issue that isnt getting addressed Hope they tweek or adjust within the next week....maybe im naive but they did adjustments in their bi week and worked for 2 wins in a row.....im hoping for the same even though i think NO is a much bigger challenge than TB/Oak.....i hope it rains and rains alot next sunday....
billieve420 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Bills should take notice of what KC is doing this year and try incorporating similar concepts on offense. Alex Smith is experiencing a renaissance and they are catching a lot of teams off guard. https://www.sbnation.com/2017/9/30/16387704/kansas-city-chiefs-offense-alex-smith-kareem-hunt-xs-os
BuffaloMatt Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Well theres a bright spot. Are you looking at McDemott's head? Even with those guys out there last night, we lose. Offensive line, defensive pass rush is the issue that isnt getting addressed Any idea how much we blitzed last night? This scheme seems to rely on the front 4 and they are not getting it done.
