The OP is the same guy who said based on what McD saw in practice, it was a disgrace he started Peterman..never having seen a practice or even read a description of a practice post-training camp.

I think Dennison is a liability to this offense .... like so many old-school coaches, he doesn't seem to be able to adapt to the players he has to maximize their strengths. No, the players have to adjust to his scheme. And in this case, TT is not a drop back QB. Dennison just doesn't seem to be able to figure out how to best use him.

Go back and watch the All 22 on Taylor and what you will find is a QB who consistently refuses to throw the ball into windows that a starting NFL QB should be able to throw into: particularly to receivers breaking toward the middle of the field at 12 -15 yards. Even on a 3rd down, when he needs ten yards, Taylor will almost always throw the ball underneath for a 5-7 yard gain rather than make that throw. I have seen him leave too many "potential" big plays on the field and walk off the field after too many "3 and outs" because of his refusal to make those throws. Not a fan of Dennison; however, Taylor has his share of culpability in the inconsistent and often times anemic offense we have seen...

The OP said what I've been saying all along. The Bills get a lead, and play run it till we punt.... It's a poor offensive philosophy by design and then people **** on Tyrod with the poor offensive numbers.

 

What excuses? Tyrod is what he is. A solid stop gap QB. McDermott and Dennisons offense this year DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to take advantage of Taylors skill set and is an abomination compared to what we saw last year. The new guys like Vlad Ducasse. That tells you all you need to know about their judgement on offensive personnel.

The OP didn't say McDermott should be gone. Dennison absolutely should be. He blows.

OP and this is bang on.  Dennison has not shown a single thing to make this offense decent.  

 

It is on him that the Bills didnt score more vs Cincinnati and Carolina.

 

Is Taylor without blame? No, but Dennison has handcuffed this team as the op pointed out and as fans we are hoping the Defense gets the job done.

Drew Brees is the reigning checkdown king as he ranks 36th in this stat this year. That’s not a typo. Only Mike Glennon and Mitch Trubisky rank lower.
