The Now Moment Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 This has become a reoccurring thing with him. He makes big penalties in big games. To me, they will be looking for his replacement soon. Those penalties are unacceptable.
KW95 - JA17 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I thought MD was the last of the stank, but I forgot about JH55
Roundybout Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Funny how hes been amazing the last few days but as soon as he does one thing wrong its time to cut him..
KW95 - JA17 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Funny how hes been amazing the last few days but as soon as he does one thing wrong its time to cut him.. Â During Practice?
QCity Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Funny how hes been amazing the last few days but as soon as he does one thing wrong its time to cut him.. Â Last few days? He hasn't gotten a sack in a month.
Roundybout Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Â Last few days? He hasn't gotten a sack in a month. Literally all this week people were posting how excellent he has been against the run
TigerJ Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Hughes didn't do the team any favors when he let his temper get the best of him, but the Bills were probably on the way to losing anyway. I'm sure he'll get a lecture from Sean McDermott, but I don't think his stupid act was any more costly to the Bills than a lot of other stuff that other Bills players either did or failed to do, like Nick O'Leary not being aware the play was still alive after making a first down catch and losing his balance.

My thought, too. Â He's having a great year. His game play and the penalty was right in line with the rest of the team today.
BILLiever55 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 To be fair, I thought it was a ticky tacky penalty. When I saw the penalty announced I was PO. Then on the replay, I don't really know what he did wrong? Not wait for them to bring out the sticks? Maybe he was dropping F-bombs on the way to the sideline but to be fair, I was too.
davspo Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Total lack of professionalism, that consistently hurts the team- unacceptable whether your up by 20 or down by 20-
GoBills! Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I think he told the ref he sucked worse than Dennison's play calling and that drew the flag..
Turk71 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 He was probably pissed they spotted the ball an extra yd donfield to give the first. I was but would have told the coach to challenge instead of cursing out the ref.

He was mouthing off to the refs. Whatever he said, he was saying it directly to them as he walked off, and they kept telling him "That's enough!" and then they threw a flag. We will never know what he was saying, but it was idiotic.
Not at the table Karlos Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I have no problem with Jerry speaking the truth to the refs. **** them.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Overall, hes been much better this year. I think this may have been his first bonehead penalty like this.
plenzmd1 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Funny how hes been amazing the last few days but as soon as he does one thing wrong its time to cut him.. I know its time to cut him as the Broncos are way better off without Von Miller too. I assume they cut him after the play in Buffalo no?
Billzgobowlin Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I thought MD was the last of the stank, but I forgot about JH55 Difference is Hughes cares too much, Dareus doesn't.
BmarvB Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 It was out of frustration over the way they were being dominated on both sides of the line. His actions were no different from the way they played.
KW95 - JA17 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Difference is Hughes cares too much, Dareus doesn't. About himself. He's been in the league for years now. They would have still lost, but the game was still in reach at that point and the Bills would have challenged that spot and the Jets would have punted.
Plano Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I was waiting for him to remove his helmet and swing it over the refs head.
