Sharky7337 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 So now we know what Kapernick's agent meant by ten days.
Deranged Rhino Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Wow. That's a shame. Hope he gets well fast, he's fun to watch.
GoBills808 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 @AaronWilson_NFL Texans signing quarterback Matt McGloin, according to a league source They're McGloin straight to the bottom of the AFCS.
NorthWesternBill Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 I had just sent a trade offer (Ertz for Watson) this morning. Luckily the other guy did not rush to accept offer when he heard the news, that would have been ruthless. Horrible news for Houston, kid can play.
BringBackOrton Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Thanks for that. Wasn't the story that he played a whole game or most of a game with a torn ACL as a freshman? I suppose I could look it up. Incredibly, most folks with isolated ACL tears can bear weight on that leg, and the swelling and pain start a little after the actual tear.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 @HBalzer721 Texans owner Bob McNair signs off on workout for Colin Kaepernick.
Patrick Duffy Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 (edited) @HBalzer721 Texans owner Bob McNair signs off on workout for Colin Kaepernick. So he is going to get the ol "inmate" a shot lol Edited November 2, 2017 by Patrick_Duffy
Wayne Cubed Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 (edited) As an aside, does Jax take that division now? And if so, and the Bills get a wildcard spot, the Bills travel to play Saint Doug? 🤢 Edited November 2, 2017 by Wayne Cubed
HappyDays Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 @SportsInfo_SIS: It's worth wondering if the initial injury to Watson's left knee occurred on the 72-yard TD pass to Hopkins with 5:01 remaining in the 4th @FO_ASchatz: Possibly the first stage of Watson knee injury? Watson took shot to knee on this play, discomfort walking it off.
Returntoglory Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, cares who is on your fantasy team. Please keep that in mind. Agreed
JM2009 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 FOX Sports: NFLVerified account @NFLonFOX 4m4 minutes ago More Athletes from around the sports world expressed their support for Deshaun Watson after hearing the news of his torn ACL.
BillsFan130 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Wow. Poor guy. Was having such a great year
May Day 10 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 (edited) Unbelievable brutal and unforgiving sport Edited November 2, 2017 by May Day 10
TheBrownBear Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 (edited) Wow. That sucks for Watson and the Texans (and my fantasy team ). Edited November 2, 2017 by TheBrownBear
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Well that sucks How unfortunate
GunnerBill Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 @SportsInfo_SIS: It's worth wondering if the initial injury to Watson's left knee occurred on the 72-yard TD pass to Hopkins with 5:01 remaining in the 4th @FO_ASchatz: Possibly the first stage of Watson knee injury? Watson took shot to knee on this play, discomfort walking it off. He did. Remember that play well. Pressured on 43% of his dropbacks... by far the highest in the league. Playing behind that line was an accident waiting to happen even if this is totally unrelated. Count 9 months from now.... that puts you right about the first week of training camp. They need to not rush him. If it takes him until week 4 or 5 next season to be ready then that is what it takes. I still say the reason RGIII failed was attitude, work ethic and no progression reading defense... but being thrown out there when not ready aftet his ACL certainly didn't help.
SaviorPeterman Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Wow terrible news and crazy when these injuries happen in practice or non contact. In any event AFC South now down to Jags vs Ttians with the runner up not likely getting into the playoffs as a wildcard due to records.
Bookie Man Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Terrible. Here's to a good recovery. Feel awful for him.
GunnerBill Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Saint Doug just got a break. The Jags will win that division now.
