quinnearlysghost88 Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 We've already seen Woods' limitations. Give me KB any day.
kota Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 You are only going to get him at 8.5 million for one year. When he gets a new contract if it is with the bills it will be much higher. it will be over 10+.
Alphadawg7 Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 I agree with this. I think Benjamin is a middling #1 who could be a upper end #1 if he could get more consistent. Woods is a low end #2. If it is an either or at the same price you would be mad to take Woods. Very much agree
djp14150 Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Bills will resign Benjamin. Benjamin had his 5th yr picked up by Carolina so he isn't someone to sign this offseason. People who say Benjamin is a true #1 are delusional..... true #1s are decent size of over 5 feeet tall and has speed Benjamin is bigger but is not that fast. because he is taller he can compete for long passes and outjump the CB deep threats are people you focus 2 people on because they can beat the one person with their speed. he is better than woods because of his height.

Delusional? The only thing delusional is your description of a "True #1" of just needing to be 5 feet something and fast. You literally just described a one dimensional WR. Hmmmm...these guys greatly disagree with your "True #1" description: Larry Fitzgerald: 4.63 Jerry Rice: 4.71 Cris Carter: 4.63 Anquan Boldin: 4.71 ALL slower than Kelvin's time of 4.61 Others notable WR's who were #1's with less than dazzling 40 times that were not much faster than Kelvin's Chad Johnson: 4.57 Hines Ward: 4.55 Brandon Marshall: 4.52 Dez Bryant: 4.52 Weird, how not one player listed, including many of the greats at the position, including the GOAT himself, doesn't fit your definition of a #1 WR. Kelvin may not be as good as some of the guys on this list, but he's a legit #1 WR who uses his size to his advantage and has made plenty of deep catches for big plays and TD's. When you are small you better be fast because you need to outrun the DB's to make big plays, when you are big you dont need to outrun them each play, you can out position them, out muscle them, out reach them, or out jump them. I will take that over a one dimensional WR who must out run them every time and hope over the top help isnt there. Which is why you see so many of those types be so hit or miss each week versus guys like this list who have more involvement and consistency. Edited November 1, 2017 by Alphadawg7
Gugny Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 A Benjamin/Woods combo would be a sweet 1-2 punch. What the Watkins/Woods combo was supposed to be, except Benjamin actually wants to play.
