TPS Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 At least he'll have more than a week to prepare for the Saints game.
NickelCity Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 It might be smarter for him to rest his knee in preparation for the second half of the season.
Patrick Duffy Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Why not? Thompson was here less than a week and had 100 yard game against the Bucs. Yup, and with all the familiarity with coach McD it would not surprise me the least bit to see him out there.
LeGOATski Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I doubt he'll be happy missing a game due to a trade. If he wants to play, they should make sure gets some action. They can easily play him on a limited basis. He'll be a valuable 3rd down and RZ target.
BuffaloMatt Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Have to account for him when he is on the field. If he just ran straight every time a CB/S or both will have him as their responsibility.
Heitz Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I sure hope so - at least in a few packages. He's on his way to Buffalo now, hopefully he'll be in the playbook ASAP! We can do this!!
ExiledInIllinois Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 "Go Deep... On TWO!" ;-) Now, can Tyrod hit the side of a barn.
Kmart128 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 When Thompson played I saw guys like Matthews telling Thompson what route to run. Could definitely see him running some fade in the endzone
machine gun kelly Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 He's not playing. He's just flying in tomorrow so possibly the Saints.
Billzgobowlin Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I would tell him to run straight down field. Having him on the field takes tremendous pressure off McCoy and TT. Such a great move. And Matthews and Clay when he comes back.
KD in CA Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way....turn.
3rdand12 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Think he can be used situational they have to game plan for him of Defense for real ha ha jets great move ! Decoy in first half, throw the ball to him in the second No me because we are going to beat the Eagles in the Superbowl and why not? I like this idea. Lets get it done, shall we? Go Bills ! "Go Deep... On TWO!" ;-) Now, can Tyrod hit the side of a barn.
billsfan89 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I doubt that he plays much, as some others here have said he might play situational if the Bills have enough inactive players and could use the spot. But there is no way he can be used in any meaningful capacity.
boyst Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I sure hope so - at least in a few packages. He's on his way to Buffalo now, hopefully he'll be in the playbook ASAP! We can do this!! for the Bills players it's simple. Put him in Deonte Thompson's role
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Why not? Thompson was here less than a week and had 100 yard game against the Bucs. See that... so many jump on your every point just because. But this makes me think you actually might like the bills. I'm absolutely sure they can come up with a few plays to the WR that's the size of the left tackle
