YoloinOhio Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 @andre_reed83 Kelvin Benjamin makes perfect sense in Bills Offense!Big body receiver who bring challenges to defenses 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Acantha Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 YEEHAW. We have ourselves a legit #1. And a #2 with Matthews!!! This is a big deal. Our receiving core has gained a lot of good experience this year, and pushing everyone down a spot put them all in ideal positions. This really changes the whole offense, even if he needs a few weeks to adjust.
MAJBobby Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Now cut Holmes and Davis by week 10 and get your third back via compensatory pick lol
Mat68 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 (edited) Mini bye and ready to roll for the Bills down the stretch. This is a huge difference maker. Taylor has a guy to demand doube teams and throw to one on one deep love it. Edited October 31, 2017 by Mat68
K D Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 No you don't mess with the chemistry and cut guys that are contributing. Did you see his TD catch? that was a thing of beauty. have to make room for Benjamin on the roster. you can only carry so many WR's. who goes?
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 it is cool.... I wonder what's changed to cause all this moving and shaking
JMF2006 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Interesting. Didn't see that coming at all. Wonder who gets let go now. Barnyard its a revolving door
JoeF Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 do you guys think we cut Holmes now to get the 3rd comp pick? he seems redundant now Joe Banyard gets cut.
Chicken Boo Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 How long before the first "Kelvin is overweight" thread?
HappyDays Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Did Carolina pick up his fifth year or is this an 8 game rental. They picked it up. We have him next year no matter what.
nucci Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Wow! All of a sudden we might have a decent receiving corp after it was left for dead a few weeks ago. This trade imo shows the team and fans that management believes the playoffs are in reach! we seem to have a playoff defense
bigduke6 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 (edited) i want to be excited about this trade, but something smells funny about it. KB was a beast the season prior to the SB year. He hasnt done much since. Worried about his injury history. Clearly didnt give up the house to get him, just seems strange. Hope it works out. Edited October 31, 2017 by bigduke6
BuffaloBill Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 He's outperforming Sammy boy by almost a 2 to 1 margin. But .... but Sammy is going to be a superstar in this league.....
Coach Tuesday Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 do you guys think we cut Holmes now to get the 3rd comp pick? he seems redundant now No. I think Benjamin and Holmes on the outside with Matthews in the slot (and Zay getting his head right on the bench) is the way the offense needs to look. Big catch radiuses for short TyTy.
Kelly the Dog Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 This is really such a great trade. Didn't give up a ton. Just what they need. Obviously HC and GM know him well. Have him for two years. Really good move by McBeane. He's a good player.
K D Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 How long before the first "Kelvin is overweight" thread? he's in shape now, 2 weeks after the season i expect him to look like Marcel Dareus. hopefully our trainers can keep him in check
gonzo1105 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 do you guys think we cut Holmes now to get the 3rd comp pick? he seems redundant now The problem is we have to cut more than Holmes....we have to cut 3 guys of Holmes, Ducasse, Hauschka, Ryan Davis, and Patrick DiMarco. The problem with this is all these guys are contributing right now in their role making them very hard to cut.
SectionC3 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Love this move. We have the chance to end the drought, and the shows the team the Fanbase we are going for it. I'll get a little bit ahead of myself here. I came of age with the Super Bowl Bills, and I'll just point out that we now have an opportunistic defense, a huge Halloween trade that nobody saw coming, and a linebacker who made a play against the Raiders eerily similar to that of Spiderman against the same team and basically the same spot of the field in the 1990 AFC championship game.
