mannc Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 So, if Thursday is too soon to play him, maybe its like a bye week to get well.Hes not injured.
The Dean Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I look it like this We have a glut of slot WR's.....but the only real "X" receiver we have on the roster is Deonte Thompson Think Justin Hunter.....but with a lot more talent He is a legit starting WR.....and having a true X on the field will force teams to respect our deep passing game....which will only open up our running game even more Other than size, the last WR I think of, when I think of Benjamin, is Hunter. Benjamin is far better than Hunter.
The Dean Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Just ate a roast pork and rabe sammich to celebrate I had about 4 bourbons. And I'm cutting back!
bobobonators Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I'm late to the party on this. But wow am I happy with this trade. Benjamin gives us a legit target at WR. More importantly, McD and Co know exactly what they're getting with this guy. The fact that they went out of their way to pursue KB shows you what kind of player he is, unlike Sammy. A 3rd round pick is nothing for a #1 WR; we still have another 3rd round pick in 2018. AMAZING TRADE. So happy. Go BILLS!
John from Riverside Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Other than size, the last WR I think of, when I think of Benjamin, is Hunter. Benjamin is far better than Hunter. He is....but in the way he will be used I think will be similar
aceman_16 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 it surprised me, too. But they said I'm intelligent I think you have confused "you are ahead of me on the bell curve" with "you will give me head with your balls curved"
JMF2006 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Can he (Benhamin) stretch 6 yards out of bounds. If so, we are in business! At least it can't get picked off there
Augie Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Hes not injured. I read here and on the Panthers board that he’s got a tender knee he’s been playing through.
T-Bomb Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I read here and on the Panthers board that he’s got a tender knee he’s been playing through. He does, yep.
BeginnersMind Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 (edited) From a Panthers fan: ...Our GM is in the concussion protocol... Funny stuff. Edited October 31, 2017 by BeginnersMind
bdutton Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Check out @buffalobills's Tweet: https://twitter.com/buffalobills/status/925464589202083843 Awesome!
John from Riverside Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 At least it can't get picked off there Its all about trusting the reciever.....Tyrod has shown that he will throw it up if he trusts them
Rubes Posted October 31, 2017 Author Posted October 31, 2017 I read here and on the Panthers board that he’s got a tender knee he’s been playing through. He does. He blew out his ACL in 2015 and has had soreness in that same knee this year. Two weeks ago he left practice because of frustration with his knee. Sitting him this week would be like an extra bye for him to rest it.
BillnutinHouston Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Does anyone every make lowlight reels? Yes, see "Best of Schopp".
HappyDays Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Anyone have insight into what he's like in the lockerroom? Well hes 65, so... Ohhhhh I think I misunderstood the question. Carry on.
YoloinOhio Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I think its nuts to play him in 2 Days, personally. At least let him practice with the QB. Mini Bye is perfect.
Rico Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Here is a nice long highlight vid for those that arent familiar. I know most are but still a good watch. You will probably have to click the youtube icon and watch it on youtube for it to work.... EDIT: Apparently the music is bad. I didn't listen so I'm sorry. MUTE IT IF YOU WATCH IT. Thanks, I really enjoyed that.
