HappyDays Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Where are you hearing the rumor about Moncrief?
SaviorPeterman Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 This Bills defense is slightly different than last year's haha We are still giving up a lot of yards though especially in recent weeks. And we were fairly stout last year against the run until the first Miami game when Ajayi went off. Regardless it's very important we don't take the Dolphins lightly. I remember last year on the now defunct BBMB board there were posters who claimed that Miami would be 'two easy wins' and we all know how that worked out. In fact pretty sure some of those same posters who are now frequently this forum are claiming the same thing this year. Bottom line every division game this year looms LARGE even Thur against the Jets (who swept us last year too).
DallasBillsFan1 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 But what if Bills play Eagles in Superbowl ... and Ajai lights us up like last year?
YoloinOhio Posted October 31, 2017 Author Posted October 31, 2017 (edited) For those that think a 4-3 team is tanking and some how giving up on the season with this trade just remember the Dolphins were struggling on offense last year during their 1-4 start until Adam Gase made the call to abandon his running back rotation and hand the job over to Jay Ajayi. Ajayi ran for 204 yards in a win over the Steelers the week after and the offense was significantly better the rest of the way including the following week against the Bills which sent our season into a tailspin as the Dolphins went on to win 9 of 11. As a Bills fan I hate watching division teams make POWER moves like this but we can only worry about taking care of our own business. sure, its possible they could go on a run like last year. Problem is they are missing 4 key things they had last year that contributed heavily to that run: Tannehill, Ajayi, a solid OL, and RexRob in the division. The only kind of run that Cutler is familiar with is a cigarette run. Edited October 31, 2017 by YoloinOhio

It gives up yards between the twenties through the air. That's why teams have thrown on us. However, it becomes very hard in the redzone to score on the cover 2. The Bills are 3rd in rush defense this year and did well against the Raiders even without MD. Coaching also matters...

Kelly the Dog Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I must say, they are ruining the NFL. I'm not sure how much longer I can watch. It's getting so you can't even be a reckless, selfish, reality show star, lazy Diva coach killer anymore. One more and I'm done for good.
Captain_Quint Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Gase and Tannenbaum one step ahead of everybody else and taking a page out of the Patriot playbook with this move. Yeah, because when you think of forward thinking in the NFL, I think Gase and Tannenbaum!
SaviorPeterman Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Yeah, because when you think of forward thinking in the NFL, I think Gase and Tannenbaum! They've built a hell of a team down in Miami and had a quick turnaround last year similar to hopefully what the Bills are in the process of doing with McD/Beane.
ganesh Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 @pff_sam LeGarrette Blount is averaging more yards after contact than Le'Veon Bell is averaging total. But Ajayi for a 4th is a damn steal. THis is like how the Seahawks ripped us off in the Lynch deal!!!! Unbelievable. The Eagles just got much better with this North-South Runner

Scott7975 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Gase and Tannenbaum one step ahead of everybody else and taking a page out of the Patriot playbook with this move. Man you really jizz your shorts over every team but the Bills. Unfreaking believable.
Just Joshin' Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 You should really work for ESPN.... Why? Because ESPN has poor takes-makes sense.
