Roundybout Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Dude is never playing football again. What a horrible injury.
John in Jax Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Terrible news. Another thing to note is that they overturned the call on the field, and didn't give him the touchdown on the play. In my opinion, it should have been a touchdown, as it appeared he did have control of the ball with his one arm as he came down. Refs suck....again. Lol
Billsfansinceday1 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 That is horrific news. Hoping for the best for Zach.
WhoTom Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Not to be nitpicky but you said you lost your faith and also said "my lord" in the same breath. And "magic". Medical science saved Kevin Everett's life; hopefully it'll save Zach Miller's leg too.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 @mortreport Bears TE Zach Miller now undergoing an MRI post-emergency vascular surgery to evaluate blood flow and anatomy of injured leg, per sources @ProFootballDoc David J. Chao, MD Retweeted Chris Mortensen The fact that #ZachMiller is now having a MRI is a great sign. If leg still in danger, would not be worried about the ligaments.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 @ChicagoBears Coach Fox says he talked to Zach a few hours ago says he's in good spirits, "He pretty much wanted his touchdown back.” Fox on status of Zach Miller: "He's got a good pulse and good feeling in his foot, not to say he’s out of the woods but it’s as good as could be expected."
Steptide Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I saw a picture of the injury and that was enough for me, but was it a non contact injury?
SaviorPeterman Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Horrible news and a reminder that NFL players truly risk their health and well being regardless of the big paydays.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 Things looking up for Miller. @RapSheet An update on #Bears TE Zach Miller, who underwent sucessful surgery on his dislocated knee https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/925081388554039296/pu/vid/1280x720/NruOjQ1OELf8ujWk.mp4
Sky Diver Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Won't be watching that. I saw it live unfortunately and that was enough.
WhoTom Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 (edited) Ouch. That reminded me of LT ending Theisman's career. Edited October 30, 2017 by WhoTom
BreezeMafia Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 One of the most gruesome, unexpected injuries I ever saw. Wow. It's like....did I just see that???
BuffaloMatt Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Terrible news. Another thing to note is that they overturned the call on the field, and didn't give him the touchdown on the play. stevestojan Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Just an awful injury to watch. If you havent seen it, I would recommend keeping it that way.
