Here's the breakdown.

 

If the Bills and Chargers both finish 9-7 then the Chargers are in over the Bills. But if the Bills, Chargers AND Titans finish 9-7 then the Bills own the tiebreaker over the Chargers.

 

The Titans finishing 9-7 is better for the Bills -but- one of those losses has to be to the Jaguars because of the intra-conference record tiebreaker. So the Titans beating the Rams is a good thing for the Bills. A win over the Rams does nothing to change the fact that they have to lose to the Jaguars next week.

 

Edit: Unfortunately they just lost so there goes that.

Chargers do play the Raiders..... Titans vs Jags. I like those chances a little.

Yes it does.  If San Diego wins out and we win next week and Tennessee loses to Jacksonville with a win today we are all at 9-7.  We would be in because of our conference record.  That only happens if it is a three way tie at 9-7 though

OR

Titans loss to the Jaguars AND Chargers loss to the Raiders

No we want TT to be TT and lose next week, giving no one anywhere the idea he's a Bill in 2018. This game and hopefully next week's collapse should be stinging indictment of his uselessness.

First go beat MiA and that isnt a given if Cutler doesnt Cutler on you. At the end of the day Bills will lose to MIA anyway and go 8-8
