TheFunPolice Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Let Clay continue to heal so he's ready for that final December push.
Kmart128 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I mean it's not really short rest for him, he's been out for about a month now. Well yes but with him not being able to go today I doubt we would see him a few days from now
Big Turk Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Gonna be a tight game...Jets are playing far above their talent level and McCown plays very well until the 4th quarter most games...
26CornerBlitz Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 @Aesj88 Tough loss but we gotta move past it and get ready for Buffalo! What an opportunity we have this Thursday's let's embrace it !
Elite Poster Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Well yes but with him not being able to go today I doubt we would see him a few days from now I figured they keep him out for this one so he can get ready by Thursday. He was on the field for Friday practice.
EersN'Bills Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I live in Phoenix and I'm debating whether to go to the Sabres/Yotes game on Thursday or watch the Bills/Jets.

I love the Sabres, but there are only 16 Bills games. It's not even a question for me, I'll catch the Sabres on tape delay. I love when the two teams play on the same day. The Sabres are 113-66-33 on days when the Bills also play, and 47 of 201 times both teams have won. Could not find how many Bills wins total, but I believe the win percentage is better than our overall record in that span. Around 55% percent if I remember correctly, but a quick google search yielded no results.
sullim4 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 The November game against the Jets is where Bills teams of the past with good records have rolled over, and with it, the season died. This is a game this team should absolutely win. This is the game that will show whether or not they have turned the corner. We haven't seen a 6-2 record or better since 1993. This is truly one of the most important games the Bills have played in years. I am nervous as hell but can't wait until Thursday. I know it's early in the season to say this, but I think we will look at this game at the end of the season, and say that it was the game that made the season, or broke it.
Putin Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 This is going to be a tough one for sure Road game, short week, divisional opponent It would be huge to win it I think if we ( God forbid) lose this game IMO would be a huge huge disappointment The November game against the Jets is where Bills teams of the past with good records have rolled over, and with it, the season died. Doc Brown Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I want a drunk Rex Ryan calling this game. I hate TNF games, but it's a good test for this team. Hopefully we get Gaines and Poyer back.
Mark Vader Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Wonder if clay will be a go for a monster Div game on the big stage I doubt it. As great as it would be to have Clay back, I think he won't return until the Chargers or Chiefs games.
Mountain Man Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Rich Cimini ESPN Staff Writer Jets CB Morris Claiborne (foot) wouldn't rule himself out for Thursday night, but you have to think it'll be tough for him to play on a short week. He said there's no fracture, but an MRI on Monday will determine if there's other damage. He said it felt better after the game than when he got hurt in the third quarter. Huge loss for them. He is one the reasons they have 3 games more than anyone expected
MJS Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 These are the types of trap games we have lost in the past. Let's see how this team responds to a game they should win. If you look at our schedule, we need this one. This and the 2 Miami games and the Colts should be gimmes. Then 1 more win puts us over the hump into the mystical double digit wins I don't think the Bills have qualified for a "trap game" for quite some time. I feel like people have been saying that almost every game this season.
eball Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Trap game? What is that? Kills me every time I see somebody post that. I don't think the Bills have qualified for a "trap game" for quite some time. That's correct, because there's no such thing.
ALF Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I would prefer Thursday Night games follow both teams bye week. Give players a chance to heal and have two long breaks in a row.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Don't feel good about this short week game. 24-17 Jets.
PrimeTime101 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I would prefer Thursday Night games follow both teams bye week. Give players a chance to heal and have two long breaks in a row. That would mean every bye we would have to play against one of the other teams that just had a bye to... scheduling nightmare.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 (edited) Don't feel good about this short week game. 24-17 Jets. So you expect the Jets to suddenly stop choking? I remember all the times people said the Bills almost beating teams meant nothing. Yet here we are pumping up the Jets for doing the same. So which is it? Edited October 30, 2017 by PromoTheRobot

Patrick Duffy Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Cordy Glenn will be on his way to a new team by Thursday. Nah, I doubt that. Don't see it happening myself.
