Offensive player of the week Award from MMQB

OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

LeSean McCoy, running back, Buffalo. McCoy reminded me of Emmitt Smith in the 34-14 rout of the Raiders. Not just because of his 151-yard day. If you recall when Smith was at his best, he was great in so many second halves. Jimmy Johnson would use him to bleed the clock in win after win after win. And it was McCoy, with 19 carries for 120 yards (including a 48-yard insurance TD run) in the second half alone, helping the Bills to a 35:37 time of possession and a dominant win. The Raiders knew McCoy was coming, play after play after play, and just couldnt stop him. Dont look now, but Buffalo is 5-2 and just a half-game behind the Patriots in the AFC East.

During his interview with Deion Sanders (2 weeks in a row!) he said when he held the ball in the air, he wanted to do the Deion celebration but chose not to. Deion said "you have permission baby, do it!" Hopefully he has a chance to do it very soon. :)

I believe the correct response is "duhhhh, who wouldn't trade Kiko for Shady?!"

I remember when that trade happened a lot of fans were very upset. Ill give Whaley and company credit for making a trade that they knew would be under a lot of scrutiny.

Would love to get a guy like Jeremy Hill to take pressure off him. Perfect compliment and could create a two headed monster. WR is a big hole but just adding another weapon like Hill can open up offensive playbook some more.

An all pro RB for a undersized linebacker?

Sign me up everyday and twice on Sunday's

Not sure why. Kiko missed the entire previous season and the defense didn't miss a beat.

Yup. And I'd still rather have him than Watkins, despite the age difference.

expect to see another big game vs the jets and on these next few games. saints have a poor run defense, as do the chiefs, chargers are second worst in league, even new england is down in the 20s. I expect this run offense to really get going and that will be fun to watch.

People always bring up the fact that shady is 29...

He is a super young 29 year old back that doesn't take a beating like AP or Frank Gore.

He can easily play at a high level until he is 34-35 if he wants. He is all about his vision and elusiveness and that is innate in football . Your don't lose that with age. He will be making guys look silly for the foreseeable future

Unsung hero on that play: Vlad Ducasse. Vlad the Impaler pulls across and seals that hole, letting McCoy through.

maybe he is better than miller

Blasphemous. I've read multiple threads proclaiming Vlad to be a waste of space and belittling McD for benching Miller. The fans on a message board can't be wrong, can they?
