bbb Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 At the beginning of the game, John Murphy said "How cold is it? It's so cold that Ed Hochuli ISN'T showing off his biceps and has long sleeves on. That's cold!"
Buffalo Barbarian Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 This game is a textbook example of why fans are sick of NFL officiating. The Bills not only beat Oakland, but they also beat Hochuli and crew. Rarely have the Bills beaten the officials during the playoff drought. Pass interference on Matthews was outrageous Lineman downfield was weak. Richie getting called for holding was BS, pushing your guy over and landing on him is not holding. And other ticky tak calls need to stop league wide.
skibum Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Can't stand watching games refereed by Hochuli. That guy wants to call a foul on every play.
JoPar_v2 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Can't stand watching games refereed by Hochuli. That guy wants to call a foul on every play. Again, all the refs are a disgrace. Not a week goes by where you dont pull a 😳 on a call. Hochuli is the most visible so i get it but theyre all bad
Buffalo Barbarian Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 over officious jerk Great quote of Marv Leavy
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 i thought the game was fair and balancedyeah 11 penalties against us and only 5 against them until the unsportsmanlike penalty after the MCocy td. Most ticky tax fouls against us I have ever seen.
Kelly the Dog Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 I thought there were a bunch of bad calls but on the most important ones, we got the benefit of the doubt.

Matthews penalty wa an absolute abomination and league should review this.
RaoulDuke79 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 At this point he's a mess and pretty much a charracture of an NFL official. It's tough watching an NFL game these days. At least soccer is pretty much unobstructed play. NFL has become a **** show of incompetent officiating
CSBill Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 The Matthews call was by an out of position official who thought he saw something, all he saw as the end a guy falling down---hew as not barely touched, if at all. The Incognito penalty? So an offensive lineman is not allowed to overpower a D-line guy? A rediculous call.
TC in St. Louis Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 I can't stand that guy. 11 penalties on the Bills. That's b.s. There were horrible calls. How about the "leverage" calls? Twice this year, and both by Hochuli. He's an a-hole.
Sweats Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Did anyone else see that mysterious phantom floating across the field that was tripping everybody up?..........we had to beat the Raiders, the refs AND some ghost.
LABILLBACKER Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Its well documented that Hercules and his incompetent crew want nothing more than to call obscure penalties in order to get his royal biceps some tv coverage. The NFL should've dumped him ages ago.
leonbus23 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 He parades around the field like Paul Orndorf.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 I was getting ticked off at the lousy spots they were giving the Bills
Dragonborn10 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Bad game for the refs. Phantom OPI on Mathews was terrble call. Hughes was mugged most of the game. Hold on Richie was iffy - looked more like a pancake block than a hold. They also missed Bills player out of bounds before recovering the ball. That should have been Raiders ball but not enough on reply to overturn.
baskingridgebillsfan Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 the matthews call has horrible, luckily it didn;t end there and the refs blew so many calls in this game that Matthews call didn't matter
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 I just looked. 11 penalties? That double their average. Well I did put the over under at 8 and I took the over.
