3rdand12 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 cordy has the 2nd highest cap hit this year for all offensive lineman in the entire league. will be 3rd highest next year. he's not one of the top 10 O-lineman in the league on talent. but his value to the Bills ? is that top ten?

I would venture to say he is pretty close to it though Papa When Glenn is healthy and playing....good things happen
3rdand12 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 I agree that it's not entirely personal, but personality does fit into the equation. Malcontents will destroy a talented team I think personalty and core values DO fit into the equation. sacrifice

In 2019 it goes to 9th (will drop even more when guys get paid).
buffaloboyinATL Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Maybe you can sTROLL around with a MD jax jersey.Ha!
Green Lightning Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Glen was good today. The whole O Line was good. And Dareus, well how much better would our D have been with him? This is a D with a lot of no names (next man ups) who don't know they are not good enough. This is fun to watch. McBeane has this team believing in themselves and they are bringing the fans with them.

Ittakestime Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 If I am reading spotrac right, trading Glenn would result in a 5 million dollar dead cap this and another 9 million next year??? Forget about it. Not only he is good, but his contract is worth it.
papazoid Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 if your going to splurge a little....LT is a worthy position to do it. just pointing out cordy is underperforming his contract.....which puts him at risk with this regime. barring inside confidential negative health info....i would keep cordy and his current deal.

True Cordy might be the next out the door.
Rob's House Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 I've been following McBean's career for some time and I can tell you, he's a loser. McDermott is a good coach but McBean's a terrible personnel guy. You guys can cheer about 5-2 all you want, but if we had a real GM we'd be 6-0 right now, believe me.
GunnerBill Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 . You guys can cheer about 5-2 all you want, but if we had a real GM we'd be 6-0 right now, believe me. After 7 games?

Dopey Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 If I were the OP, I would take back what I said. Even if we tailspin and miss the playoffs.

DefenseWins Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 (edited) If I read Spotrac correctly the Bills now have $12,679,294 in 2017 cap space available and are projected to have $29,602,348 in 2018 cap space available. So if the Bills rolled over this years remaining cap space into next season they'd have a total of $42,281,642 available for 2018. Nothing will satisfy you will it? Winning, our rookies are playing a lot of time at different spots and our recently signed secondary has been strong forcing turnovers. We have gained a ton of draft picks and cut some of the fat on this team to clear cap space for this offseason to bring in guys that fit the system. Bills are playing well with little top flight talent and yet you're not happy. Keep crying man, wow.
