frostbitmic Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 The Bills aren't under any obligation to help out the patriots or any other team we're competing against for a playoff spot. If Boldin wants to play, the Bills could use a WR. By retiring like he did, Boldin oppressed the Bills.

boyst Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Pretty sure trade deadline is 4pm on oct 31st, which could mean that since were giving him till 1pm to find a trade partner, Bills will probably do the right thing and release him if he cant find one by then, or give him a list of a bunch of community centers that could use his help 😂😂the right thing to do is obide by the contract. Keep his ass here and what he agreed to. If he was hurt or otherwise the impetus on him in a reversed role, should things be different?
keepthefaith Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 I'm sure the Bills would welcome him back with open arms if he still wants to play. Working out a trade could take weeks if ever. If the man wants to play football he should return to the Bills. He's only a 3 hour plane ride back to his family from Buffalo and the season has only 2-3 months left.

It's almost like Boldin has been disingenuous this whole time. Weird.

Actually, I've heard the exact opposite : There is concern how well Boldin would go over in the locker room. Edited October 27, 2017 by grb

xsoldier54 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 He was on the Bills for what, a week? I think it's wrong that they need to approve any kind of trade. Just let the man pursue his dreams and further his career. I feel that the Bills are treating Boldin as "their property," and it's unjust. If he'd had a longer tenure with Buffalo, YES, I would get it. But he never played a meaningful down. They should just unchain him and let him go to whichever team he chooses. Like everyone is saying, he's old and washed up, so why does it matter? Why do they need to get something in return? He signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills. They own his rights to play in the NFL for a period of time. That's the way NFL contracts work. Nobody is "oppressing" him. He signed the contract and fully understood how things work in the NFL. It's part of the collective bargaining agreement that he and his union agreed to.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Whether you fall for it or not, u gotta question the original poster. If it's not a troll, then discussions can be had to understand the posters' point of view. If it IS trolling, i personally keep it moving but I do question the mentality of a troller. Like, do u just wake up one day and feel like, I just wanna be THAT person today? Is it cuz you're tired of your uncle coming into your bedroom while you're sleeping and spooning you? I think to myself, anybody who goes around trolling on the internet either got too much time on their hands or has abuse issues. Just next time tell your uncle, NO. This seems logical. People who create "trolling" threads on football MB's must have been sexually molested by their uncle. Glad this is all cleared up now.
CommonCents Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Please Uncle Harvey get out of bed I told you I don't even want to be in the movie anymore!! Please!!

Kelly the Dog Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 You are oppressively stupid. God, I miss BBMB. People often mistake historical for hysterical. Like "Very ignorant choice of words from this thread title selected when considering historical use of the word 'oppression.'"

Glad this is all cleared up now. I wouldn't say "must". It's questions I ask myself ABOUT the trollers. Didn't say they WERE molested. Just trying to figure out what makes people do the things they do on my own. So far the Uncle coming to the bedroom at night just makes the most sense to me. My theory may change.

Augie Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Well.......THIS sure has been fun! Let me ask this: Might we be able to get more for Boldin than we could for Dareus and his big fat contract? Which is to say....anything?
