bmur66 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 (edited) Yes, Boldin is being oppressed by "the man" who owns him. He will be sold to the highest bidder. Edited October 27, 2017 by bmur66
oldmanfan Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Please re-read my OP. There is NOTHING AT ALL that points to race. This is worse than what Sony put George Michael through. And no ... not because he may/may not have been gay. You really do not understand the concept of a contract.
Gugny Posted October 27, 2017 Author Posted October 27, 2017 Yes, Boldin is being oppressed by "the man" who owns him. He will be sold to the highest bidder. That's kind of a crappy way to put it. People will get the wrong idea and take it into another direction.
HumbleAndHungry Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Still trying to figure out if the OP is being serious or not

buffaloboyinATL Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 I hope the day never comes in which someone shatters your dreams. I wouldn't wish this hell on anyone. LOL. Now I know you're trolling.
aristocrat Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Lol he signed the deal and then backed out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
plenzmd1 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 From the meetings The meeting was going so well that even the unintentionally awkward moments were forgiven. At one point, Buffalo Bills co-owner Terry Pegula, moved by Anquan Boldin's story about his cousin being shot and killed by a police officer, complimented him on how impressive he was but kept calling him "Antwan." Then Pegula suggested that Boldin would be the perfect NFL spokesman on social issues not only because he had walked away from the game to pursue causes but because, the owner said, it couldn't be a "white owner but needs to be someone who's black." JPP Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Wow i guess he already saved the world? Signing a contract than bailing cause he believes the team is garbage does not equal oppressed......im believing the stories a few months ago that he wanted the Pats to pick him up...if they came ringing he would jump on the cheatriots bus so quick.....trade him and try to get something at least!
Cripple Creek Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 One of the more idiotic threads I've seen here in a bit. OP should be neutered with a rusty scalpel for posting this drivel.
Scott7975 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 This is the way contracts work. Boldin signed a contract here. Bills own the rights.

Well intentioned but tone deaf to downright idiotic.

DasNootz Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 If he wants to play.... why are we entertaining trade offers? Isn't our biggest need right now at receiver?

bigK14094 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 (edited) IF boltan finds a team that wants him.....then, the team and the bills need to decide compensation. I would say that compensation might be a late chocie.......or, a bundle of cash to cover the signing bonus that Boldin received....plus something for the insult of quitting on the Bills. I don't buy the high plain motives for a minute. He just didn't want to be part of a rebuild.........Contract terms rule!!!! Edited October 27, 2017 by bigK14094
Canadian Bills Fan Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 If he wants to play.... why are we entertaining trade offers? Isn't our biggest need right now at receiver? He wants to play for a team closer to his home in Florida CBF
