Cherrybone Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 But the team as a whole look pretty good. Even though they gave up some yards against the Bucs, they still could've beaten any team with that same performance because they allowed big plays they didn't give up on them and they still attacked the ball. Sacks may not be there but more importantly they turnovers are. These guys swarm to the ball and they get great results. Still a little concern about the offense although I do see some potential for improvement. The probowlers are definitely Micah Hyde, Poyer, possibly T. White, and possibly McCoy if he keeps pace from last game. As a team they look like they're finally ready to play in the post season. Just my thoughts.
The Now Moment Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 3 secondary players, all of them new to the team this year. Both free agency and draft used to acquire the talent. That's exciting and should be a boost to the regimes confidence to find talent for McDermott's schemes.
RoyBatty is alive Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 McCoy is gong to have to radically pick up the pace to have a shot. I agree on the secondary players. Tra White DROY, poor Myles Garret and his injuries.
billsbackto81 Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 I see only Hyde, possibly T. White. Clay was on his way before the injury. Haushka, maybe?
boyst Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Taylor will get a pro bowl nod. And should. People like to pretend QBs are all special and really jump on the hype train there. McCoy will get it. Poyer and Hyde. White could. Kyle Williams will out of respect alone. But the pro bowl doesn't mean Diddley
nucci Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Pro Bowl means nothing . The best players sit out every year......and obviously anyone playing in the Superbowl
aceman_16 Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Pro Bowl means nothing . The best players sit out every year......and obviously anyone playing in the Superbowl This... since rooting for a small market team - even more of this.
WMDman Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 i see Tyrod, Shady, Incognito, White, Poyer, Hyde and Haushka making it
HereComesTheReignAgain Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Pro Bowl means nothing . The best players sit out every year......and obviously anyone playing in the Superbowl So we will not have any Probowlers in that case!
papazoid Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 i see zero first teamers. likely some alternates....led by Richie at OG, Tyrod...when 5 others pass, maybe one of the safeties.
fridge Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 I've never watched a Pro Bowl, and I'm under the impression they're terrible. Is there a reason why people get all excited about this? Is it just another Buffalo inferiority complex and obsession for national attention?
nedboy7 Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 The pro bowl doesnt matter. PFF doesnt matter. Stats dont matter. Just what the folks on here think matters. Got it.
Samwell Tarly Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Pro bowl is a joke. NFL should just name all stars for each conference and not bother with the game since no one wants to actually play or watch it.
papazoid Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Pro Bowl should be an Awards show only for first teamers only during the off week just before the super bowl in same city so all may attend. cancel the game.
Doc Brown Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 I've never watched a Pro Bowl, and I'm under the impression they're terrible. Is there a reason why people get all excited about this? Is it just another Buffalo inferiority complex and obsession for national attention? When they moved it to the week before the Superbowl I stopped watching even though the week after was also terrible. I just wanted to enjoy one more football game before the long offseason.
The Frankish Reich Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 (edited) Pro Bowl should be an Awards show only for first teamers only during the off week just before the super bowl in same city so all may attend. cancel the game. I like it. And I might actually watch an awards only show! The last Pro Bowl game I remember watching more than a minute or two: O.J. led the AFC to a thrilling victory, c. 1974 or so. NewEra Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Pro Bowl means nothing . The best players sit out every year......and obviously anyone playing in the Superbowl This. Tyrod is a 2 time starter and 2 time pro bowler.
Cherrybone Posted October 27, 2017 Author Posted October 27, 2017 This. Tyrod is a 2 time starter and 2 time pro bowler. Uh oh
