boyst Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Not sure where the 'one bad apple' comment comes from. There are many more than one, watch the videos. And you have the nerve to call my view 'retarded' after what you just wrote that I put in bold. That's rich.ok 200 bad officers in this country and you're ready to cry over it?
RoyBatty is alive Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 I never said all cops are racist, f- you for putting these kinds of words in my mouth. If the media doesn't report about whites shot by cops, how do you know about it. And we are not talking about criminals(of any color) being shot, we are talking about blacks with broken taillights getting shot, or 12 year kids with a pellet gun getting shot, or a guy in a store holding a gun for sale in that store getting shot.... get the point or do you just want to dismiss those because it's not convenient for your argument. I have no idea what percent- it's irrelevant- it happens and they are usually not held accountable Prove that BLM had anything to do with those cops being shot. Is it acceptable to use the 'one bad apple' argument in regards to BLM if they had anything to do with those killings. I don't know- maybe that's the problem, some of those that want to be cops just aren't qualified. This is just in Texas, Officer Goforth was shot in the back of the head by a BLM supporter at a gas stations, 5 officers were killed during a BLM March in Dallas, the cops were there to protect and keep the peace, so lets all hear about the peaceful BLM movement. Everyone knows the names of Micheal Brown, Tamir Rice, Freddie Gray, etc. Can anyone name one cop shot in Dallas?
row_33 Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 You were just a piece of meat to the owners and now you can't produce, so why haven't you disappeared?
billsfan1959 Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 you make these grand pronouncements with no basis of fact behind it- 'i think that all cops are racist' ' i believe the entire legal system is racist'.... give me a break. Part of the problem is I feel they should be held accountable, yet they are not. That's where much of the concern for injustice comes from. Actually, I believe the officers in each case you cited were held accountable in the way of grand jury investigations and/or trials.

The Minnesota dude was grabbing toward his gun. Not police fault. Find me an actual case of police shooting an innocent man unjustifiably, please. I can think of 3 that may hold water. The rest - bogus
Dr. K Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 You guys have a lot of problems. Digging you out from under that mountain of horse-puckey that clouds your brains is more work than any sane human could tolerate.

PromoTheRobot Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 How do you get your shoulder pads on over that 'fro?

Supporters of the police shoot people too, does that incriminate all police officers? ok 200 bad officers in this country and you're ready to cry over it? and you're ready to dismiss it?
boyst Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 (edited) Supporters of the police shoot people too, does that incriminate all police officers? and you're ready to dismiss it? 200 officers being bad eggs in 1.1mm is ... .000018%. IDGAF because I also realize most of those shootings involve idiots not complying with police I'm about ready to end this discussion on my part, but how was a cop killing Tamir Rice not the fault of the cop that shot him?dumb almost teen pointed a very realistic toy gun at police. He was 12. Let me be much more coarse. If a 12 yr old is that stupid than I'd rather error on the side of the police officer because the off chance it was a real gun... I vote cop 100 times in 100. The police officers life was threatened. Plain and simple. Edited October 26, 2017 by Boyst62
RoyBatty is alive Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 (edited) Supporters of the police shoot people too, does that incriminate all police officers? and you're ready to dismiss it? Big difference, BLM is an anti-cop movement, there is an active anti-cop mantra, the cops were shot BECAUSE they were cops, that was the only reason. To me that reeks of prejudice, exactly what they are accusing the cops of. I am not aware of any police entity that has been advocating targeting any group of people as "evil", there is no motivation for violence promulgated by the police therefore your analogy fails. There are bad cops, there will always be bad cops but you have to consider things in PROPORTION. When you said the percentage of cops that are bad was irrelevant I know there would be no agreeing. If you expect cops to be 100% perfect you might as well disband every police force right now and live in total anarchy. As I said, who in the right mind would want to be cop right now. Just because the world had different opinions doesn't make everyone opposed to your communist ideals doesn't make them racist or Castro.

Just because the world had different opinions doesn't make everyone opposed to your communist ideals doesn't make them racist or Castro. Where the hell did you get this from? The conversations have not been civil. They've been full of hatred and ignorance. I called no one racist or Castro. Those are your words. This was about a meeting between NFL owners, players and Kaepernick. In the last few pages, it's devolved into another hate-filled argument. That's all I was pointing out.
Kelly the Dog Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 I found it hypocritical to protest the justice system then turn to that justice system to help him when it personally affected him. So if you believe one part of the justice system is wrong and may need to be fixed, that means you believe that entire justice system is wrong? That's a ridiculous stance.
