Kirby Jackson Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 He might make some sense with the injuries in the secondary.
Kelly the Dog Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 Is he a good character guy? I have no idea. But it's surely a prerequisite for McBeane at this point. He would be a little upgrade I think. They love versatility, too.
I'm Spartacus Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 Is that the best we can do? Looks like a journeyman Practice Squad guy. We need Coy Wire to come out of retirement.
SaviorPeterman Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 I'd rather go after Byron Maxwell, can play zone coverage and would provide some insight into the Dolphins who have been very successful under Gase the last few years.
voodoo poonani Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 What about Sam Shields? As long as he's not concussed he's a decent CB and a current free agent.
thebandit27 Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 What about Sam Shields? As long as he's not concussed he's a decent CB and a current free agent. He's still facing a 2-game suspension that has not yet been served. He's of no help in the short-term even if he does pass a physical.

boyst Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 I'd take him at a good cost over Maxwell. But would take Maxwell on a prove it deal first, potentially. Otherwise Moore would be a bandaid for a few weeks. How's his special teams play?
thebandit27 Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 (edited) OK Tracy Porter? If anyone, the street FA I'd be targeting would be Nolan Carroll. I'd also be thinking about flipping a conditional pick to Seattle for the recently-benched Jeremy Lane--he's got experience in a zone scheme, has nice long arms, and is a capable tackler. Good call on Lane. I have wanted him here for awhile, rumors surfaced prior to week 1 that he was available but nothing happened. I'd prefer him over Maxwell too. He is a gamer, perfect fit for this group of guys.

Off the field, I'm not so sure...he's got a reputation as a hot head (which, consequently, is why he fit in so well with Seattle)

I had assumed he played his way back into the lineup after the season started.
