26CornerBlitz Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 (edited) @FieldYates The Bills, who are dealing with pass catcher injuries, worked out WR Rod Streater today, per source. Streater was with them this offseason. Edited October 24, 2017 by 26CornerBlitz
Patrick Duffy Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 (edited) Cool. I thought he had a pretty solid camp and preseason. Think it will be a good pick up Edited October 24, 2017 by Patrick_Duffy
Kelly the Dog Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Would much rather have him than Brandon Tate. Taiwan Jones can return kicks and Hyde or someone else can do punts.
Doc Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Sign him, cut Khari Lee. Why he's on the roster I have no idea!
Jamie Nails Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Dealing with pass catcher injuries? Did something happen outside of Clay getting hurt and cutting Klay? Matthews is back. This would just bolster things, right?

Kelly the Dog Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 (edited) Sign him, cut Khari Lee. Why he's on the roster I have no idea! He's a TE. We run a lot of two TE formations and he is the third. We need a third. Edited October 24, 2017 by Kelly the Dog

They need more than two contributing WRs and with Zay Jones in a season long funk it looks like they are exploring additional options beyond what they currently have on the roster. We'll see what happens.

JPP Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Good news.......glad to hear this......keep trying to improve the position as much as possible....I liked this kid too....think he can do some good things....just hope the injury is not too bad now
26CornerBlitz Posted October 24, 2017 Author Posted October 24, 2017 ...many have said Zay needs to move back to his normal slot position.....help?...hurt?....makes no difference?......kid DOES have talent............... Talent acknowledged, but they can't afford to wait on him to put it all together in-season. @caplannfl #Bills also worked out TE Jason Croom.

Nope, but nice to see the production nonetheless.
Steptide Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 I heard on the radio last week or the week before that Streator couldn't be a part of the active roster for like 6 or 7 weeks due to his injury clause or something like that? Anyone know what the details on him are?
Saxum Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 ...many have said Zay needs to move back to his normal slot position.....help?...hurt?....makes no difference?......kid DOES have talent............... He has talent but apparently his WR coach, who also was his college WR coach, cannot get him over the hump. Maybe it is the WR coach. Maybe he is dealing with an injury and does not want Bills to know and will be put on IR and we will be surprised about it. The Bills need to spend some money and bring it an offense consultant to work with him.

Anyone know what the details on him are? It is 6 weeks after yoy give a guy an injury settlement before you can re-sign them. That period is now up. The Bills are free to sign Streater if they wish.
