Paul Costa Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Byron Maxwell was just released by the Dolphins. Should Bills be interested?
Buffalo_Stampede Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Should, but I don't think we are desperate enough.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Toss him a cheap offer and see if he bites. Why not?

Buffalo_Stampede Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 At least get the playbook? I mean, before Belichick! That's crazy. Belichick already has it.
CommonCents Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Always a name, never a player. No thanks.
Billzgobowlin Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 I am all for improving the D but when these things happen you always have to wonder why.
Buffalo Bills Fan Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Yes get him. Fits the d really well plus injuries starting to come. Makes lots of sense
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 ....ehhhhh  He is an ok zone corner. If Gaines is out for a while, he is an able replacement.  Someone will likely overbid
boyst Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 ....ehhhhh  He is an ok zone corner. If Gaines is out for a while, he is an able replacement.  Someone will likely overbid zone corner who needs a good bit of safety help. he could do well here sicne we cannot upgrade linebacker
Doc Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Yes. The Bills have done well with other teams' cast-offs. But for a reasonable salary.
GunnerBill Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 I am not a huge Maxwell guy. I fought against other posters here who wanted him when he was a FA in Seattle and was surprised Miami ever considered him part compensation for moving down in the 1st round of the draft. However, our need at the position is great and he is better in zone than in man. No idea what he would want but I think he is a better corner than S. Wright.
billsbackto81 Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 God no!! He's awful and has no heart for the game. Got paid and checked out. Â Sadly, he's most likely better than what's left on the roster. But without competent safety help he's useless and Poyer is out.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 I would be good with him in a zone scheme. Certainly worth a look IMO
CDogg20 Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Would be solid for when EJ goes down again. I like EJ a lot but he is not durable.
Paul Costa Posted October 25, 2017 Author Posted October 25, 2017 Love to hear we brought Rod Streeter in today. Im now hoping we bring Maxwell in tomorrow. Like the majority have said here he would be a decent pickup with Gaines injury and make for nice depth going forward. And he gets to play the Phins twice this year!!
