dollars 2 donuts Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 (edited) The freaking Dolphins playing the dreadful Ravens. Weirdly (and thankfully) the Bills are still in a playoff spot at that time. We have to keep this going. Badly, badly we need this win against the Raiders and then against the Jets. Welcome to the AFC East, one of the toughest divisions in football. Darn it. Edited October 23, 2017 by dollars 2 donuts
billsbackto81 Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 The Dolphins are in no position to overlook no team. Their D is good but still have many flaws and are fortunate to have 4 wins thus far. Don't be surprised if the Ravens win.
4merper4mer Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 They are lucky Cutler got hurt because Moore is far better.

Bb81, I can't believe that as of right now I am not thrilled to play any team in our division. Meanwhile, 4-3 and barely beating the Browns gets you a divisional lead around this league. I hate the Pats and the Phins and jets are a combined 8-6 by Thursday.
GunnerBill Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 I think Miami will win Thursday and agree we've got to have these next two games. If the Bills are 6-2 with 4 divisional games still to come and with a 4-1 AFC record we would have put ourselves back in prime position to make at least a wildcard.

If we are 6-2 by Thursday of the jets during the Pats bye week, we are technically in first place, even if all three teams (including the Dolphins) are 6-2. Bills 4-1 in the conference, Pats 3-1, with both 1-0 in the division and the Phins would be 1-1. Edited October 23, 2017 by dollars 2 donuts
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 http://www.nfl.com/playoffs/playoff-picture Still holding onto the 5th seed.
thenorthremembers Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 They needed the Bengals game badly and have to win against the Saints, Jets, and Dolphins twice to have a legitimate shot this year. This is the reality of the AFC East where you start the year 0-2. No room for any margin of error like dropping one to a team like the Bengals.

SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 We;re onto Oakland and nothing else matters but getting a victory.

That may be the lowest-scoring NFL game since our 6-3 thriller against the Browns in Jauron's final game in 2009.
PABillsfan23 Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 I can see Buffalo beating Oakland then losing at New York the following Thursday.

Don't be surprised if the Ravens win. Matt Moore is much better when he comes in off the bench then when teams can game plan for him after a few weeks...

Ravens will be a tough game but even so that would still allow us a wild card spot
Matt in KC Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 who started the year 0-2? I think he's saying in the AFC East you go in at a huge advantage because you know you are going to lose 2 to the Patriots*

YoloinOhio Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 Disagree, I don't think either Miami or Baltimore are good but the Ravens have a significant advantage at home typically and they should have Maclin back by then. I'll take the Ravens defense vs the Miami offense any day.
T-Bomb Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 (edited) The Bungles loss was a killer. That loss is a prime example of why they will likely miss the playoffs. Same old Bills tbh... Edited October 23, 2017 by T-Bomb
