You know he's not from Buffalo, right? He's from Florida. He played his college ball at UB, the only D1 school to offer him a scholarship. Honestly most WNY'ers couldn't be bothered to see him play when he was here. Sad, really.

thats because most WNYers are fans of New York states real college football team: the Syracuse Orange.

GO ORANGE!

55-49 game?

god bless Tyrod and the offense but I dont think they are capable of hanging more than 40 points in 1 game.

So, which QB and receiving corps is gonna do a better job exploiting the opponent's depleted secondary?

Long sustained drives that eat up clock. Run and pass. Then let them make a mistake on their own offense. With the run game back on track, and Tyrod continuing to find receivers down field, I think the Bills can pull it off. I'm strangely confident about this game. Raiders are actually in worse shape in their secondary and their rush defense isn't all that great either.

The Raiders received a big effort from Amari Cooper last week, and against a beat-up Bills secondary, our reporters like the Derek Carr-to-Cooper resurgence to continue in Buffalo.

Oakland Raiders
That giant exhale you heard coming from Oakland last week was a sigh of relief from the Raiders' offense to the tune of 417 yards passing and three touchdowns from Derek Carr, plus 11 catches on 19 targets for 210 yards from Amari Cooper against the Chiefs. Sure, the sideshow that would be Marshawn Lynch returning to face the franchise that drafted him in 2007 will be missed as he serves his one-game suspension for making contact with an official. But the Raiders need to take advantage of a beat-up Bills secondary that has surrendered an NFL-high 350 yards passing per game since Week 5. And unless weather totally grounds Carr & Co., the good times should continue for the Raiders, who also enjoyed a lengthy mini-bye after having played on Thursday night. Or, as new middle linebacker NaVorro Bowman told Carr before beating Kansas City, “You handle that ‘O,’ and I’m going to get this defense right.” Raiders 27, Bills 23 -- Paul Gutierrez
Buffalo Bills
The Raiders' passing offense, which gained 417 yards last week against the Chiefs, might have awakened at the right time. Since Week 5, the Bills' defense ranks 30th in opposing Total QBR (73.5), 32nd in passing yards per game (350.5), 31st in net yards per pass attempt (8.76), 26th in third-down conversions (46.2 percent) and 21st in points allowed per game (23.5). With safety Jordan Poyer (knee) and cornerback E.J. Gaines (hamstring) uncertain to play Sunday, the Bills will have their work cut out for them against Derek Carr and his receivers. Carr with Amari Cooper, Michael Crabtree, Seth Roberts, Cordalle Patterson and Jared Cook...

Or...

Tyrod with Half a Jordan Matthews, Zay Jones, Deonte Thompson, Andre Holmes and Nick O'Leary.

Hmmmm...

Somewhat lost in the game last week was our five no names matched Tampa Bays five household names in yards and points. Maybe 30 less yards and three more points.

Lee Smith limited with a knee injury. Finally we catch a break. The Raiders cheerleading squad will struggle without him.

this is noteworthy i could guess.

But that was purty darned good humor Captain : )

Anyone check Flightaware for Malcolm Jenkins' whereabouts?

But seriously, working guys out on a Friday?

new CBs in the Howse. Hope they found a gem.

Wright is going to need help and maybe play under/ coverage. I don't trust him alone.

hope they show something off beat. if only we HAD 5 corners to field !

Raiders look like an injury plagued team on defense right now. CB's one safety and LBs.

need to score points and TOP would be nice.

expecting Raiders to score should be in the game plan lol

What if Jordan Mill's becomes the greatest RT in NFL history?

Anyone know the earliest Clay might be back? Saw he was out in warmups today.

I chuckle every time I notice your avatar, Thanks for that !

exactly.

and nicked up LB's

Chuck it far and high Tyrod

The one person that picked the Raiders to win also picked Miami to win and was wrong. We definitely win this game now.

never never say words like " definitely win "

You mighta screwed us right there.

We have rules about not jinxing game day.

"expecting a win" is kinda pushing the line into danger zone. Where terribly bad luck awaits the Bills.

Please use better judgement next time and in the future please.

If by some left handed swipe by Fate we LOSE this game?

all eyes will be upon you.
