TFBillsfan Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 @JoeBuscaglia #Bills HC Sean McDermott said Richie Incognito will practice on a limited basis. How can he feel good about it? Our depth in the entire secondary is atrocious. Wright gets lit up on a routine basis. Does he not see that? IMO this is what kills the Bills. We continue to parlay the belief that our starters will play a full 16 game season and then have UDFA typically behind them. #Bills HC Sean McDermott on the depth at cornerback without EJ Gaines: "I feel good about it." @JonScottTV Ryan Groy and John Miller have taken reps in place of Incognito. #Bills
HumbleAndHungry Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 (edited) Assuming Poyer is good to go for Sunday is there any chance we see Micah Hyde playing mostly cornerback. I would put Micah on Amari Cooper and have Tre shadow the speedy Crabtree. Then maybe you go two deep with Trey Elston and Jordan Poyer. I really have zero confidence in Wright Edited October 27, 2017 by Finkle Is Einhorn

voodoo poonani Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Gaines out will be a big blow. Oakland will test our secondary. Pass rush better be up to the challenge.
CommonCents Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 I think Poyer is out as well. He hasn't practiced right?
PaattMaann Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 I think Poyer is out as well. He hasn't practiced right? hes day to day, has not practices yet, I think he will play (based on them NOT ruling him out yet)
26CornerBlitz Posted October 27, 2017 Author Posted October 27, 2017 I think Poyer is out as well. He hasn't practiced right? Not yet ruled out. We'll see whether he's listed as doubtful or questionable.
CEN-CAL17 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 @SalSports And encouraging sign. Bills TE Charles Clay on the field stretching with his teammates today. Hes still out Sunday. 11:25 AM - 27 Oct 2017 @MatthewFairburn Charles Clay is on the field going though stretches at Bills practice. He's been ruled out for this week. Could be a decent sign that Charles Clay is working his way back. Jordan Poyer also out here getting his calisthenics on. Clay wont Play til the Charger game. Misses, Raiders, Jets, Saints....
CommonCents Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 hes day to day, has not practices yet, I think he will play (based on them NOT ruling him out yet) Ehhhh hopefully he is back for the Jets. I don't see them pushing him back this soon if is unable to practice.

Is this a Madden move? I would expect Hyde to play his position, safety. Sometimes he does cover guys though...but as far as Hyde on Cooper and White on Crabtree? A) Cooper is their "speed" guy compared to Crabtree B) we run a lot of zone C) I would expect the mantra of "next man up" to continue here, and our safeties will play safety and Wright will fill in for Gaines
John from Riverside Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Crabtree isnt really that speedy. Good route runner with great hands. Crabtree is what we hope Zay Jones will become
LABILLBACKER Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 @MrJeffHunter1 minute ago More The #Bills are among the worst teams in the NFL at turning their turnovers into points https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/10/26/16552372/buffalo-bills-converting-turnovers-into-points-interceptions-fumbles-scoring-offense?utm_campaign=mrjeffhunter&utm_content=chorus&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter This is a huge problem. I can't tell how many times we get a pick or fumble in great field position and not even get a fg.
The Wiz Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 This is a huge problem. I can't tell how many times we get a pick or fumble in great field position and not even get a fg.4. One missed fg and 3 punts. So depending on your definition of great field position you could say they haven't scored once. It's a problem for sure but more of a problem that they aren't scoring TDs rather than not scoring at all.

The Wiz Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Did you count the end of the first half against TB? just what they put in the article so two if you count that. I don't know how I would count that one though since they didn't "finish" the possession.
