He was about to take a flight home and play the waiting game when the Buffalo Bills called. "Don't get on that flight,'" Thompson recalled them saying. "Get here ASAP." Just 24 hours later, Thompson was a member of the Bills. Six days later, he caught four passes for 107 yards, including a crucial 44-yard grab on the game-tying drive in a 30-27 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In less than a week, Thompson went from unwanted to the Bills' first 100-yard wide receiver since Sammy Watkins amassed 154 yards on Christmas Eve last season."

dubs Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Awesome. In one game hes had half as many total yards as Sammy in 7 for the Rams. But Sammy didnt get a full offseason with the Rams so its not a fair comparison.
Scott7975 Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Wow how awesome is that? We dont win this game today without him.
JM2009 Posted October 22, 2017 Author Posted October 22, 2017 It's looking more and more that we have a FO and HC that actually know what they are doing.
aceman_16 Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 He absolutely looked comfortable out there. It was very nice to see.
CSBill Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 (edited) If the season ended today, Deonte Thompson would the Bills Receiver of the Year! Edited October 22, 2017 by CSBill
SaviorPeterman Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Not surprised The Hoodie was after a player like this, Pats have been making shrewd in season pickups like this for years so thank goodness for the waiver wire rules in terms of claims.
LA Grant Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Deonte ran a 4.3 in the 40 yard dash? That's pretty nuts. To compare, Sammy ran a 4.4. Obviously the 40 isn't the be-all, end-all measurable for a receiver... but he caught everything thrown his way today and considering his history with Tyrod, if he's able to be a downfield threat... that could make a huge difference for the offense.
/dev/null Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Wow. Cake, I'd like you to meet Icing. No, the icing on the cake will be when he torches Gilmore
