stevestojan Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Im still not convinced we won. Thats how positive I was we werent go to tie it up after that TB score.
Green Lightning Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 I thought we were toast. Same here. TT actually leading a 4th quarter come from behind win is just the growth he needs to show. Liked the pass to Logan as well.
Big Turk Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 This team just somehow, someway figures out a way to win the game at the end...isn't always pretty, isn't always the way you want it to be, but this is how teams win in the NFL....this is how the Dolphins made the playoffs last year and realistically how they are tied with us at 4-2 this year as well... That's mental toughness...that's a mindset...that will go a lot further for this team than whatever their record ends up being this year. Good things are ahead with this coaching staff...they are starting to turn the corner
Domdab99 Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Yeah, after the Evans TD I wasn't even mad...just figured it was another standard Bills loss of a game we should've won.
voodoo poonani Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 TBH, I turned it off after TB scored. I felt I had seen this game before. I was shocked when I checked the final score.
hemma Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 We need a play and White made a play. What a great draft pick.
Samwell Tarly Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Have to give the bills credit here. Down 27 to 20 I figured they'd either go 3 and out or throw a pick, like we've seen so many times before. Congrats, Bills, you took another step in the right direction today.
Dragonborn10 Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Go back and read the game feed. Most thought the game was over after the McCoy fumble. I posted, it was time for TT to show up against a bad Tampa defense. I would say I was at best 50/50 thinking he could.
Bronxbomber21 Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 I watched the Arizona game last year with a bunch of Bills fans and one Pats* fan. The Pats* fan was laughing at us for how nervous we were until the last tic of the clock. He kept saying "you guys are dominating this game, why are you so nervous?" You don't know what it's like until you've walked all these miles in our shoes... ain't that the truth
Real McClappy Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 (edited) BBFS is a most ugly affliction. What is this BBFS crap mean? Bare Back Full Service I swear this site needs an abbreviation checklist pinned to the main board. Edited October 22, 2017 by Real McCoy
billsintaiwan Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Was ready to be drunk and bitter. Instead became drunk and infused with mirth.
stevewin Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 I figured they were toast after Tampa tied the game. Bucs out-Billed us today. No kidding - fumble on the way to the sure game-winning kick, letting a RB somehow inexplicably weave through 6 sure tackles on the way to the back breaking last 1st down - all things Bills
NickelCity Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Never doubted it for a second. Always had confidence Tyrod would come through in the clutch lol
8-8 Forever? Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 (edited) It's a win. T White made an Pro Bowl play with the chips down. That's was a big league play at a critical moment. TT looked exactly like Russell Wilson. take the win and move on. Edited October 22, 2017 by 8-8 Forever?
YoloinOhio Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 I wasn't confident until the final tackle... And even then I paused to double check for a penalty flag. Being a Bills' fan is not for the faint of heart! LOLi am usually like that but wasn't today. Weird!
JerseyBills Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 I was enraged. Couldn't stop thinking about the missed FG and the fiasco before Halftime. This team showed alot , scoring in a minute, rookie making a veteran play to cause a turnover. I've said it since Training camp, we got a team and I think this game opened up a lot of eyes.
LABILLBACKER Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Never doubted it for a second. Always had confidence Tyrod would come through in the clutch Bangarang with "tongue in cheek"
aceman_16 Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 I was too buzzed not to have faith. A more sober me would have been skeptical and pissed about the lost 6 points.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 When they tied it at 20 I figured we lost game and than after the 27-20 lead I am telling a buddy no buffalo team ever comes back down 7 with a few minutes to go. THan when we strip ball and get it in great position figure we will kiss FG or something stupid. WOw what a win and except for bonehead clock management in first half and the massive yards given up this team is a TEAM.
SaviorPeterman Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Obviously like most I felt the game was over when the Bucs went ahead 27-20. The Bills showed a lot today with their gritty come from behind win but you have to be very concerned going forward regarding the defense being exposed in recent weeks especially against teams that still might not be true contenders like the Bengals and Bucs. Also potential significant injuries to Poyer and Gaines loom large with another pass happy team like the Raiders on deck.
