BuffAlone Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Apparently not: Thanks for the info👍 Steve Smith watched the game with his son after getting ejected two years ago so I assume this is legit - https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2015/08/29/steve-smith-ravens-son-ejection-fight-thanks-nfl Carr confirmed after the game that he checked into the draw play. I think he's legitimately crazy.
Big Turk Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Initial 2 game suspension appealed down to 1
frostbitmic Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 The NFL suspends Lynch for 8 games because leaving the sidelines and gently pushing a zebra is worse than beating a woman. Lynch will appeal and it will end up before a judge who has nothing better to do than sit and listen to another whiny ass athlete who doesn't believe his actions should have consequences. Both Lynch and Zeke the freak Elliott will be suspended for 1 game to start the 2020 season.
hemma Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 16) After #1 - 15, ratings continue to decline. NFL Officials blame the weather.
sir andrew Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Several factors at work here. Did he push the ref with his Porsche Cayenne?
H2o Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 I think Goodell shows his authoritah and busts Lynch with a 3 or 4 game suspension. Reduced to 2.
YoloinOhio Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Several factors at work here. Did he push the ref with his Porsche Cayenne? i heard the ref was Canadian and it was a "push and run"
Gugny Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 why do people hate Lynch? He is a fun loving stoner who is good at playing running back I love the guy. And I think he's great for football.
K D Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 no suspension for leaving the bench and getting into an altercation and then pushing a ref? they are setting a pretty bad precedent with that one
Marv's Neighbor Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 1. NFL issues 2 game suspension. 2. Lynch says, "yeah, right," and retires again. The End No, he'll come back here because he misses Chippewa St.
YoloinOhio Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Jamie Richard is the better RB right now for Vegas/Oak
PromoTheRobot Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Dareus gets a 10-game suspension just because.
RoyBatty is alive Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 (edited) NFL suspends Beast Mode for one game. Raiders front office agrees and takes no action. He will be on the sidelines next Sunday in Buffalo acting like the jackass that he is. LOL, most likely scenario. Of course every move he makes on the sidelines will be captured and it will turn it into some massive insult to the Bills and WNY. Actually I think a 4 game suspension which will immediately be appealed down to 2. NFL has to come out real strong on this, can't start intimidating refs. 1) Comes off the bench 2) gets involved & fights with other players 3) pushes ref 4) like the idiot he is he goes up in the stands and is splashed all over social media, smart move rub it in their faces about being ejected Edited October 20, 2017 by RoyBatty is alive
muppy Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 lol dude u gave this some serious thought to type all that :-D Nobody said ever that Mr skittles was the sharpest knife in the drawer what he did was idiotic-selfish-DUMB atta boy marshawn @-@ Heres how this plays out:1) Marshawn and Jack Del Rio have a joint news conference apologizing for his actions2) Roger suspends Lynch for 2 games for leaving sideline and pushing ref3) Twitter explodes with comments about how it was an innocent shove, heat of battle, etc.4) Richard Sherman vows he will sew a #24 on his uniform this Sunday5) Lynch files appeal through NFLPA6) The appeal wont be heard until next week so Lynch and NFLPA file for restraining order with Circuit Court7) Facebook erupts with memes showing it was only an innocent shove and gifs demonstrating how Lynch really didnt see the ref (Look, there...he wasnt even looking at the ref)8) The Circuit Court grants injunctive relief so Lynch can still play9) Roger files with Circuit Court of Appeals to reinstate 2 game suspension10) NFLPA takes deposition of ref saying he wasnt injured and really didnt mean to throw the flag11) Lynch is featured on a 30 for 30 piece explaining how his upbringing made him want to go out and help his team mate so his leaving the sideline should be excused12) NFLPA asks for new rule change that allows high profile players to assist team mates when extra help is deemed necessary on Primetime games.13) Roger agrees to rule change so long as Lynch is suspended one game after the Bills game.14) NFL Owners ask for more introductions like the one on Thurday that preached Time to Hate before the game15) Lynch plays in the Bills game and rushes for 38 yards on 6 carries.
Rob's House Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 It never ceases to amaze me how some fail to see the distinction between conduct related to the game and private conduct.
Norwood for Wall of Fame Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 When he was here, Rex had such a strong policy about "leaving the bench" that very often only 10 of his players would do it.
muppy Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 my prediction: 2 game suspension . I'd be surprised if he gets less than that,
BringBackFergy Posted October 20, 2017 Author Posted October 20, 2017 When he was here, Rex had such a strong policy about "leaving the bench" that very often only 10 of his players would do it. LOL
BillsFan130 Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/10/20/donald-penn-marshawn-was-trying-to-protect-cousin-marcus-peters/ Interesting, I thought for sure he was going after Peters. (Not that it matters in terms of whether he gets a suspension or not, just a side point)
JMF2006 Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Apparently, many believe Lynch came off the sidelines to protect his cousin, Peters, not his QB. Not likely to go over well in the locker room. Knucklehead. Before he was thrown out Penn and ML had it out on the sidelines in a huge shouting match. BTW I think the Raiders suspend him for 2 games so the league doesn't get involved. Then the league will fine him 50k this Tuesday.
