The Carolina Panthers have never had back to back winning seasons.

So is that what happens when you have a franchise QB, that people automatically assumes you're a good team even when facts don't back it up?

I hope McDermott can find better consistency than his old boss. Because that's the hallmark of a really good coach - getting consistently good performance from a team over time.

Not really a fun fact.

I see them making the playoffs 6 times since 2003 with 2 SB appearances. I'll take that for the Bills since 03 up, granted 2 more SB losses would suck, but would have been a fun ride.

Carolina Panthers seasons are about as consistent as Cam's mechanics unfortunately.

It still isn't an excuse, considering the weak division they're in, and the soft schedules they've had. I was so sure they've had back to back winning seasons. If they didn't have Cam, I don't think they make SB. Simple as that. They are looking less and less impressive.
