RIP Kevin Cadle who passed away on 16.10.17. Kevin presented the NFL on Sky Sports from 1998 and was a massive Bills fan. He came across as a true gentleman and would always get the Bills into a conversation. He is probably the only reason the Bills have been shown live on Sky for the last 17 years.

Kevin Cadle was a British-based American sports presenter and former basketball coach. Cadle was born in Buffalo, New York in 1955. After retiring from coaching in 1997, Cadle presented American football and NBA programming for Sky Sports. Wikipedia

Very well-respected NFL commentator on Sky in the UK and Bills fan.

Also grandfathered professional basketball into the UK before that.

And lesson to us all to have that yearly checkup and if something does not feel right to go get checked out ASAP.

It's going to be pretty emotional for those at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday. When 70,000 pack in to watch the Cardinals and the Rams it is no exaggeration to say that Kevin Cadle is part of the reason many will be there. He did more to bring the game to the people of the United Kingdom than anyone. Kevin wasn't for detailed Xs and Os that casual fans couldn't engage with. He was about making the game fun and he covered it in a fun way. From the annual Sky Sports Thanksgiving Turkey tradition to the way he picked the Bills as his darkhorse every single season in the first show of the year - Kevin WAS the NFL on Sky Sports. That they unceremoniously dumped him towards the end of the 2015 season to replace him with some awful American woman that the NFL bigwigs were trying to screen test for an NFL Network job (she lasted one year... she only knew players on the Patriots and would get at least a dozen things a show wrong on average) was an absolute outrage and even the week before he died I saw British twitterati calling for the return of Big Kev.

Sky's show on Sunday will start with a tribute to him too. It will be difficult to hold back the tears through that.

That game is in London? Is this going to be the first night game in the London series?

It's a 1pm game your time... not sure what that make it on the west coast? Not the first time that they have kicked off at that time. They all did originally. The early kick offs started about 4 years ago.

Anyone know what he died of? The Wiki link posted by the OP said "died unexpectedly."

RIP

All I have seen is Mike Carlson saying that he pulled out of the Talksport Sunday show with "a virus"
