EmotionallyUnstable Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Wait so now our only backup RB is Tolbert and T. Jones? Cool.
John from Riverside Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Don't laugh but Thompson might actually be an upgrade over Zay Jones considering he has more catches and yards than him this season. Puts into perspective how disappointing Jones has been that we are kicking tires on players like this right now. Or that the overall talent level of the team is low at WR
YoloinOhio Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 Wait so now our only backup RB is Tolbert and T. Jones? Cool. Carlos Hyde on his way? @salsports The Bills have signed WR Deonte Thompson and released RB Joe Banyard. Also signed S LJ McCray to the practice squad and released released Jordan Mudge & Marquavius Lewis from PS
26CornerBlitz Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 The Mudge is gone from the practice squad along with DL Marquavius Lewis.
YoloinOhio Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 (edited) @jonahjavad #Bills have signed WR Deonte Thompson. #Bears cut him 6 days ago. Weeks 1-4: 11 rec, 125 yards, TD Was in BAL w/ Tyrod Taylor in 2012/2013 Edited October 17, 2017 by YoloinOhio

SaviorPeterman Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Or that the overall talent level of the team is low at WR I actually like this move, it's no secret we need help at the position. Just realized he was on the Ravens roster back when Taylor was there too so at least there is some familiarity with each other since they practiced a lot together as backups.

transient Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 The Mudge is gone from the practice squad along with DL Marquavius Lewis. Jordan's time with the Bills was Mudge ado about nothing...
SaviorPeterman Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Also interesting we cut Banyard, wonder if we are about to bring in another RB because we certainly need it and apparently we tried to get Adrian Peterson which tells me Beane and McD is looking for more than just a backup/ST player at the position.
YoloinOhio Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 He has also been with us in the past as well correct?yes, 2015 preseason. He was pretty good and then got hurt.
GunnerBill Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Happy with DT back. He is JAG but he is better than the JAGs we have. We need to find a backup RB. I can't watch much more Tolbert. I'm going to break every screen in my house if he keeps bouncing runs to the outside.

Marty McFly Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 No FA wr is going to help our high school passing attack. We would be better just going full time to an option offense. Tell Dennison to out the option plays back in the playbook and stop fckin around. DT is def an upgrade over everyone here besides matthews and clay. He had an awesome preseason with us in 2015
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 think he and dareus will get along? I know, I know. just for ***** and giggles. I believe both will be contributing factors at their position going forward. https://www.fanragsports.com/bills-still-confident-in-marcell-dareus/ http://articles.baltimoresun.com/2014-02-22/sports/bal-ravens-wide-receiver-deonte-thompson-charged-with-possession-of-marijuana-20140222_1_deonte-thompson-chad-steele-the-ravens charges were dropped. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/deonte-thompson-has-drug-charges-against-him-dropped/
John from Riverside Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Wasnt Deonte a speed guy? Do we finally have a get deep guy that isnt a TE?
Mark Vader Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Carlos Hyde on his way? @salsports The Bills have signed WR Deonte Thompson and released RB Joe Banyard. Also signed S LJ McCray to the practice squad and released released Jordan Mudge & Marquavius Lewis from PS That leaves us with one spot open on the practice squad.
OhDozeBills Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Guessing this could mean Kaelin Clay might have a foot out the door, which means trading Seymour for this guy may not have been best move. I think the more interesting story though is working out Matt Simms. That seems very odd to me.
GunnerBill Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Wasnt Deonte a speed guy? Do we finally have a get deep guy that isnt a TE? Yep. And he is a better one than K.Clay.... but then so is my 90 year old grandmother....
