Kelly the Dog Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 Bauer said the Bills were the first team to express interest in Holcomb when the free agency period began on Wednesday. Wednesday? bull sh--! TD wasn't even in the country! http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/8253862
Ozymandius Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 wow, a great signing, and a great attitude by Holcomb... he has no problem being the backup

Kelly the Dog Posted March 5, 2005 Author Posted March 5, 2005 Phones, internet, faxes 263578 I was just mocking all the Chicken Littles who were panicking that TD wasn't doing anything to acquire FA while all these other teams were signing guys. Thanks for the explanation the cap, BTW, and for all your work, as usual.

Jiminy Cricket Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 WTF - What the hell happened to Mathews?! I thought he was the perfect backup!???????? or so everyone at OBD said! Bills have greater needs than a browns castoff!!! Damn this is depressing! Something had better change for the better!

Something had better change for the better! 263657 Again, Matthews announced after the season he was "re-retiring". The Bills convinced him to come out of retirement last year to play when both JP and Brown went down. There was noway TD was going to convince him yet again to play for a couple of years, especially as the #2. But I hope the Bills draft a late round QB, or one of the NFLE guys if a good long term clipboard holder.
