Well, we all knew that Shelton was on his way out. Its just a matter if TD can step up and claim him. As I said yesterday, I'm willing to part with a 5th rounder and Henry to get Shelton, even with today's Gandy signing.

AZ is retarded. are they collecting o tackles for fun???? They also have Davis - who they picked 2nd overall a few years ago.

And we complain about MW - imagine if he wasnt even cracking the lineup like Davis?

Actually Davis was the guy playing LT instead of Shelton last season.

They also have the guy Green wanted to start at RT, Clements, who was moved there when Shelton was in the doghouse early and then when Shelton missed the last 2 games. Clements did okay at RT, not as good as Shelton, as he was not quick to even get hands on slower LDE's. But he is just as good of a run blocker.

If Shelton is a good RT. Could MW be moved to LT ?

In my opinion Shelton is similar to Jennings, but a better run blocker. Because of that yes he is probably better suited to right tackle. The difference is he has longer arms and can maul a guy if he gets hands on him. Jennings was probably better suited for guard, he as alligator arms. People coud get around Jennings easier then Shelton.

So Shelton would be above average starting at left tackle, and yes where I saw him last year, he was probably great at RT. But if a guy is an above average starter at LT, and a great run blocker you have to start him at LT. The LTs in the league are too valuable and to rare to find a good starting quality one.

Williams can play LT, but he s carrying a lot of weight, and while quick, just may not be quick enough. He will need more TE support then Shelton will.
