He does get a hand on most of the balls, but they are very badly thrown and no where near the catch radius of an average receiver. Also, look at the list of top pass catchers in college, most of them haven't done ****. Too high expectations for a limited WR with a limited QB

Youre trolling right?

You dont actually eat the bullsht you jus tried to feed us, do you?

Takes time... Especially for an over-hyped young WR... If you watched a lot of him at ECU, and you knew what you were looking at, (A very raw talent) -you expected this.

I'll admit that I follow college ball, but had no idea what we were getting with Jones. After all, who watches ECU?

Just looked up stats and can not believe zay has only caught 5 passes on 25 targets. This is absolute crap. We can not have a starting wr, never mind our so called top one doing this, unless he improves he has to sit. I long for the days of Goodwin and Parrish

The worst part is he's one of the most targeted people by Tyrod, including TE's & RB's. He also has the lowest catch rate out of all of them too.

Great kid with a case of the "yips." He knows how to catch just needs to get the thinking out of the way like he did in college. It is why they need to throw a TON of easy short throws to him to enhance his confidence.

They made an easy throw to him last game and he dropped it. Enough with the excuses for the kid. They need production from him with Clay and Matthews on the shelf.

Exactly. Everytime the kid drops the ball it stalls a drive. Then people say Tyrod sucks!

Some here REALLY NEED a scape goat. There are some here who aren't happy if there isn't at least one guy that they are trying to run out of town.

Jones for sure hasn't been what we'd hoped -SO FAR. He is 5 games into his rookie season having played not the best college competition. It might take a little time for him to master playing at this level. give him his rookie year at least. If he doesn't improve, then we'll all give you guys credit for KNOWING that he sucked after watching only a few games

Exactly. Rookie 2nd round WR with 5 games played.

The part that drives me crazy is the yahoos saying if Peterman was throwing it Zay would not be dropping it......

I mean....what the heck?

That's why we really got to consider benching him if this continues into the Bucs games. The inefficiency is killing the offense. An offense that is already not all that strong to begin with. It is hard to imagine Taylor having a lower completion rate to any other receiver.
