Humber could be back week 7? Bills seem happy with the LB's they have. I do think they are more likely to sign a free agent than give up a draft pick. I hope they are looking

for receivers...

He was cut. He is not subject to waivers. He has no contract. He's a free agent.

No, he has more than three years in the league, he's not subject to waivers.

Which is something I did not know until now. But it has nothing to do with his being cut.

I cant believe that the 49ers actually had a deal in place with a team (someone was going to take that contract on)

But he didnt want to go there so out of repect Lynch just released him.

End of an era: Niners release veteran LB Bowman

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Bowman's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, sent a letter to all 31 teams saying he had permission to seek a trade. Nothing materialized, leading to Bowman's release.

Bowman remains on the right side of 30, but the injury history is a concern. While he is still stout against the run, the linebacker has struggled in coverage this season. Now that he's been released, we'd expect there to be a market for a savvy veteran on a playoff-caliber team needing run-stuffing depth.

Pats. They need all the help they can get on that defense.
