Harvey Weinstein (and others) accused of sexual harrasement

i read this morning that it was because Matt Lauer wanted nothing to do with her and that it caused a lot of tension and that he requested she be removed from the today show.

No she left a while ago because of the "rumors".   close in line with what was said above.

Matts wife thought there was hanky panky going on and demanded that Matt to have nothing to do with her and that could be what caused a lot of tension

She was let go cause she was awful. They lost a lot of viewers, me included, when she became the co-host

My wife has some good insight into the doings and rumors at that show, and the rumors have been around for a while about him with regard to affairs, but nothing of sexual harassment.

Think the folks involved were saying rumors of an affair with Natalie Morales, not Ann Curry. Like I said, might be plenty of truth to those rumors according to someone close to the show.

 

But he would not be fired for a consensual affair, more for aggressive/harassment type unwanted behavior. There had been no talk of that at NBC News, specifically the Today Show.

Beyond his family connection, which is significant, where did Cooper intern before becoming a journalist?
