Damn shame about Louis CK, he's the first one in this whole wave that I really liked. Hardly a surprise though.

Sounds like there are a few women with the same tale. WTF is with these guys?

My friend is an employment lawyer. He is swamped right now.

If you want to hire management, the street will be full of fresh resumes in a few weeks.

And now the 19-year-old Charlie Sheen molesting the 13-year-old Corey Haim, wtf.

http://www.tmz.com/2017/11/09/charlie-sheen-corey-haim-molestation-brett-rossi/

And Corey Feldman says he fears for his life after speaking to the police

http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/09/entertainment/corey-feldman-pedophilia/index.html

I'm thinking the person he fears has ties to the LA Crime Family and the investigation into Feldman's abuse claims risks exposing Hollywood's relationship with Organized Crime

It's amazing how one accusation can now completely destroy someone's career.  I can in no way see someone taking advantage of that.

I'm sure a good number are legit, but at the same time, I can guarantee that we are going to have a couple careers that are ruined over a fake accusation.  The whole thing is very uncomfortable from just about every angle you look at it.

False accusations are a big problem in this country before you even take celebrity and wealth into account.

This is starting to turn into a 21st century SJW variant of McCarthyism

Are you now, or have you ever, made unwanted sexual advances...

This will happen but cleaning up the wealth of atrocious behavior is a bigger problem by far. In non-celeb workplaces, women don't have much to gain by going public with accusations in proportion to what they gain.

So far the celeb accusations (with the shocking exception of Sheen who appears to be innocent ?!?) have lots of sources and accounts to stand on.

Spacey's and now Roy Moore's child molestation were the worst ones so far.

A lot of bad actors out there quaking in their boots.

The headline stories haven't been denied too much thus far by the perpetrators. Even George Bush seems to be involved in some ass-grabbing.

Roy Moore and Charlie Sheen are the only ones issuing full denials.  And Bill Cosby.

Very smart on their parts. If we learned one thing from OJ, it’s deny deny deny.

Supposedly in Denise Richards divorce papers it said Carlos liked to watch underage porn.  I can believe the accusations.

Most of these cases don't surprise me but it really makes not want to watch anything associated with Hollyweird.

Or vote? Roy Moore’s denials are now turning into admissions that he dated teens but asked their parent’s permission...when he was in his 30s.

He’s not admitting the worst accusations but he’s no longer in full denial.

Harvey is impetus for a deep cleaning not just of Hollywood.

I don't care about Louis C.K.one way or the other, but I really don't see the issue there. The way I hear it he asked female comics if they wanted to watch him jerk off and they said yes. Is there more to this?

It's a case of the coverup being what got him in trouble. Having his manager destroy the careers of the ladies after the fact, icing them out of gigs and tv shows to keep them quiet, is the bigger problem with this particular instance as far as I can tell.

He asked his subordinates to watch him jerkoff and/or whipped his d— out in front of them. Like other celebs, maybe no crime but not OK.

It’s not as bad as some others in this purge for sure but not great either. His career will recover long term. Weinstein, others won’t.

Do we know if that's true? I haven't heard anything about him wrecking their careers.

It's my understanding that these were not his employees but just other comics working the circuit. I don't know that for sure, but that's what I read.

This was the slippery slope many were referring to when we were concerned what people were considering was sexual harassment.

It was more his manager than CK, his manager is/was one of the most influential/powerful comedy managers in the business. The NYT article that broke the story discussed it in part (his manager denied these accusations), but it was something talked about by other comics for the past few years.

Imagine you’re you but trying to make it in comedy as an up and coming comic. One of the most successful comics invited you to hangout. Then asks you if he can jerk off in front of you.

it’s not acceptable.

That ignores his coworker who who has the same story as the young comics. He took advantage of his position. He’s not Weinstein but nor is he a good guy in this.

For what little it's worth, I believe Louie has come clean and admitted what he did was wrong and unacceptable. One of the few, so far, who (once it became public) fessed up and apologized for his behavior.

Doesn't excuse the behavior. But in many cases, the cover-up is what really drives the stake into the heart of these idiots.
