plenzmd1
It may have been his own store, I don't know I wasn't really paying attention. My boss was at Mandalay Bay a month ago & he told me he was there too so it could of been. Haha, when I used to go there for the Super Bowl I would take a jog every morning on the strip around 6 am or so & a few trimes on my way back there would be police car with the flashing lights pulling over & arresting guys on the strip for soliciting prostitution. You could see the look in their faces thinking to themselves "how am I going to explain this one to the wife back home." This is a perfect summary of Vegas. Starting in 1997, I used to go at least once a year. Used to love playing Beer Pong & $1 roulette at O'shea's. I used to love walking the strip. Your exactly right, there are no site lines anymore, it is pretty much just one big tunnel. Like I said, if we ever go back we will stay at Mandalay Bay & I probably won't leave that resort. The Hotel at Mandalay is very nice, all suites, as opposed to The Mandalay Bay regular hotel. Nice part about the casino there is usually only hotel guests. Bad part is you are a long way away from anything else. We stayed at Cosmo last time there and did not like that at all.

Kelly the Dog
Just got back from Vegas to see the OT loss on Tuesday night. A quick report. The game was fun, wild ending obviously. Sucks to lose in OT after that comeback of course. But a good game to see. The new arena is pretty nice. Good viewing arena. It was a sell out. Fairly loud. Bars everywhere. Lotta Sabres fans but a huge number were wearing Golden Knights gear. The arena is right on the strip, tucked between the Monte Carlo and NYNY. A bunch of Vegas style show element to the game, which comes across as a Monty Python skit to me, but the crowd loved it. I think it might work in the city. People seemed excited about having a team, and obviously them winning right away helps a lot. They have a bunch of solid players and good goaltending. For a Tuesday, the city seemed just as busy as it normally is. I'm sure it was down a little because of the incident but they are doing a good job getting it back to normal. There is a huge Vegas Strong local campaign going on to keep civic pride up and it's everywhere, and seems to be working. The airport and general traffic was normal busy, too. Would have been awesome to get out of there with a win but we scored four goals, never gave up, O'Reilly finally had a good game. Kane's goal with 18 seconds left was awesome. It's still possible to have a decent season and make a push.
