26CornerBlitz Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 @diannaESPN Trade! The New Orleans Saints have traded Adrian Peterson to the Arizona Cardinals for a conditional pick per sources The deal makes sense for both teams with Kamara and Ingram as a nice duo for NO and the Cards needing RB help with David Johnson down.
Ramza86 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 I pretty much expect the same deal over there in Arizona. lol
4merper4mer Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 (edited) Also of note is that Willie Mays just got traded to the St. Louis Browns this morning. Neither trade is expected to impact the 2017 playoff picture. Edited October 10, 2017 by 4merper4mer
26CornerBlitz Posted October 10, 2017 Author Posted October 10, 2017 ADs done Only nightfall from here on out?
SaviorPeterman Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 If the Cardinals truly believe they are still a SB contender they would no doubt covet a veteran like Glenn and/or Dareus that fills major holes they have on their roster. Beane needs to make a move especially if he want's Glenn and/or Dareus gone and I'd take just about any WR on the Cardinals roster right now.
Blokestradamus Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 @PhilMackey Adrian Peterson is averaging 2.3 yards per touch the past two seasons...
Roundybout Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 AP and Chris Johnson. Deadly duo if it was still 2010.
CommonCents Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 AP and Chris Johnson. Deadly duo if it was still 2010. Update 2017: Dead Duo
Blokestradamus Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 @corryjoel Saints have a $1,547,773 2017 salary cap charge for Adrian Peterson. There's a $1.25M cap charge in 2018 from his $2.5M signing bonus.
buffaloboyinATL Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Figures. I am facing an 0-5 team in Fantasy that has Peterson as their RB. He will probably score 3 TD's against me this week and then do nothing the rest of the year.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Are The cardinals just trying to have the oldest over the hill team in sports? I guess it is a place where a lot of older people go to retire.

Do you know how !@#$ing insane that is?????????? Great switch for the Saints.
HappyDays Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 @PeteBlackburn: First a Saint, now a Cardinalnext Adrian Peterson will be the Pope
26CornerBlitz Posted October 10, 2017 Author Posted October 10, 2017 Kind of ironic since CJ2K was on twitter advocating for Peterson to get more touches: Cardinals release RB Chris Johnson after trade
26CornerBlitz Posted October 15, 2017 Author Posted October 15, 2017 Peterson has a 100 yard rushing game vs. the Bucs in his Cards debut.
Real McClappy Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Waiver added in 3 FF leagues. This is working out great!
