SaviorPeterman Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Cleveland still has his rights. Only would take him for nothing and give him a contract with incentives. Guy has a lot of talent. He's a stud and I believe still only 25 years old despite being out of the league for a while now.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 When you're 6'4 220lbs and run 4.2 you get as many chances as you want in the NFL.
YoloinOhio Posted October 10, 2017 Author Posted October 10, 2017 No mention of "process" on his long list of vices so I think McD would take a pass
Koko78 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 I truly hope that Gordon gets his **** together and decides that he really wants to accept help dealing with addiction and to change his life. You can't force change on an addict.
C.Biscuit97 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 I respect this, especially if hes being sincere. Johnny Football was awful for him and Baylor deserves the death penalty.
NoSaint Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Interesting how he indicates that the Baylor coaching staff helped him cheat on drug tests. By interesting, I mean not shocking at all. All the Brohios insisted he just drank a Bud Light on a flight and also had a contact buzz. Who could have known. @joebanner13 So glad he said this. So many pundits have falsely said that he was out of football for weed. Now people know that entire narrative was BS I like to give benefit of the doubt but it really surprised me how many people were on the "he didn't realize he couldn't have that 1 beer" kick It was a real long shot for that to be true
Saxum Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Sounds like perfect player for New England and maybe some of his fans here will come out of the closet and tell us they wear T*m Br*dy jerseys.
BADOLBILZ Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 No mention of "process" on his long list of vices so I think McD would take a pass The only prescription is more process.
TheBrownBear Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Good luck to this young man. Accepting responsibility is the first step. I hope he can stay clean for the sake of his kids.
row_33 Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Some people listen when they are told 1,000 times not to do drugs. He'll be rewarded by having kids totally ignore his warnings to them.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 I'd give a very low pick to CLE for him and give him a shot. He hasn't played in awhile now , but showed elite skills. The Bills don't have much to lose by doing so. Whatever skills he had have probably evaporated by now. He would need an entire offseason to get in game shape.
Boatdrinks Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Whatever skills he had have probably evaporated by now. He would need an entire offseason to get in game shape. Maybe. That could be determined by putting him through a simple workout. Perhaps he's been maintaining his conditioning, we don't know. Still it would be low risk with a potential payoff. Not just for this season either. The cupboard is bare at WR, a talent infusion is needed.
vincec Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 (edited) I'd give a very low pick to CLE for him and give him a shot. He hasn't played in awhile now , but showed elite skills. The Bills don't have much to lose by doing so. That would be a Doug Whaley - Rex Ryan move, but I dont see Beane - McDermott doing it. Edited October 12, 2017 by vincec
