K D Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 definitely too early to throw statements like that around. And the ones coming out this year are even better
HappyDays Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 This is exactly why I wanted the Bills to trade up for Trub in the draft. Time will tell though. We didn't have a chance to draft him so we'll never know what they thought of him. McDermott was never going to draft a QB high this year, without a season of his own scouts and before he knows what team he has here. FWIW I thought Trubisky was easily the #1 QB prospect all along. Lack of experience in college was his biggest knock.
mannc Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 If John Fox needs a timeout to decide whether to go for it here...there's no hope.
Bangarang Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 lol Bears looking like a dumpster fire on that 4th down
HappyDays Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Chicago needs a new coach. What the heck was that? Just let your young QB have a shot on 4th and 2. What are you playing for?
mannc Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Pathetic. Trubisky obviously needs to work on his hard count. That punt gained them 22 yards.
Bangarang Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Im baffled. These HCs will spend a dozen hours a day gameplanning and going over situations yet will completely crap the bed on trying to figure out what to do on 4th and short in enemy territory. How was punting there even an option?

Lack of experience in college was his biggest knock. Agree on all. His accuracy was damn impressive in the limited games he played in college.

The fact that he was ok starting the season with Mike Glennon, and stuck with him for four putrid games, tells you everything you need to know.

How was punting there even an option? Ever hear of a guy named Doug Marrone?
HappyDays Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 If I was an NFL coach I don't think I'd ever run the ball on 2nd and 6 or longer. Especially when the QB is playing like this.
CanadianFan Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 What a way to get your first friggin start. On MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL! If he's got stones or not, it's gonna show.
Bangarang Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 (edited) Bradford held that ball for an eternity in the end zone Edited October 10, 2017 by Bangarang
billsfan714 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 LIke this kids arm. Cleveland fans should be crying.
HappyDays Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 You can see his potential. Throws a really accurate ball for the most part with great velocity. But he only started 13 games in college. He needs to learn which windows he can throw into, and how to make progressions. There's no guarantee he ever gets there.
EasternOHBillsFan Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 The Bears put Cohen in WAY too much and Howard can't get rolling... he started off with runs of 12 and 5 yards, they put Cohen in, he sucks, and Howard back in and don't run the ball. Ugh.
