row_33 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Without Clay, Tyrod will decrease his pitiful viewing range downfield to about 8 inches past the line of scrimmage.
KRT88 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Every team on our schedule watch film. They have targeted stopping the running game and said, I dare you beat us passing. With TT's reluctance to throw down field and our exceptionally pedestrian wide receiver copr, it is unlikely we will score enough points week in and week to win 8 of the next 11 games. And I serious doubt our defense is going to score us a TD every week. I'm not blaming anyone I am stating what is clear as you watch the game. Our defense will keep us in most game games but even when they give the offense positive field position, they cannot move the ball consistently enough to take advantage of those situations.
Albwan Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 c'mon. they aren't going 11-5, our 'superbowl' is over.... at this point hopefully they don't lose to the jets next time.
BmarvB Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 We can possibly go 7-4 the rest of the way if we can get something out of the WR's, 4-7 if the offense doesn't get any better
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Who do we need to lose this week? everyone? NE @ NYJ. Tie? or NE loss. Miami @ Atlanta Steelers @ KC - Steelers (I'd prefer KC but) NYG @ Denver Chargers @ Oakland - will the Raiders lose 4 in a row? Rams @ Jaguars - Rams (just to hear more Sammy talk)
Juice_32 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 There is a path to 10 and it's much straighter than I recall in some time. We need to get healthy this week and figure out the run game. I expect the offense to improve just based upon the caliber of defenses we'll be facing the rest of the way. Either way they are in a much better spot than I thought they'd be and I'm having fun.
Haslett_Stomp Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 How bout 2-14? That would be pretty schocking. That would be quite a feat considering they are 3-2.
Foreigner Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Whatever you are putting in the water, I will have some too
Steptide Posted October 11, 2017 Author Posted October 11, 2017 Keep in mind the toughest defenses on our schedule are past us and we came out 3-2. Theirs always hope
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 How bout 2-14? That would be pretty schocking.2 completions for 14 yards? Thats probably what we will have against TB at halftime. Wont make a move for any real WRs and we will just get smothered on offense every week
Boatdrinks Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 I'd tamper that down a bit unless this offense can find a way to score more than one TD per game.
PrimeTime101 Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 9-7 if we are lucky. I don't like the matchups between Raiders, Saints, KC and Pats. Just a gut feeling. 9-7 gets us a wild card and breaks the curse. Bucs WRaiders LJets WSaints LChargers WKc LPats LColts WDolphins WPats LDolphins W
papazoid Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 the party's over the Denver win was total luck and injuries will expose lack of depth. 6-10 Bucs LRaiders LJets WSaints LChargers LKc LPats LColts WDolphins WPats LDolphins L
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Chargers L ?? Colts L ?? Tyrod isn't that bad
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 It's still early but this feels like a year where 9-7 will earn a wild card spot. Heck, both wild cards might be 9-7 with a couple division winners being 9-7 as well. 11-5 is very optimistic but not impossible. 9-7 does seem very doable if we assume we take care of business against the Jets, Colts and Dolphins twice we would only need to find two more wins between the rest of the opponents. This next game is a big one though. Old Bills would lose back to back games after a 3-1 start. This team needs to find a way to right the ship and get to 4-2 with what you have to still consider a very winnable game against the Jets after that to get to 5-2.
sjjr Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 The next five games are key. All winnable games that could put the team in a position to be confident and strong to finish in the divisional games down the stretch.
row_33 Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Keep in mind the toughest defenses on our schedule are past us and we came out 3-2. Theirs always hope 4th straight year of a 3-2 start, that proves a lot.
grb Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Keep in mind the toughest defenses on our schedule are past us and we came out 3-2. Theirs always hope The Bills could easily win the next five : Bucs, Raiders, Jets & Saints (all at home) and the Chargers on the road. That would put them at 8-2, with two Miami games still on the schedule. Eleven wins is quite doable though any attempt (ANY attempt) to bring in some receiver would help show some seriousness.....
