LA Grant Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I don't think the offense is unfixable, and I don't think it's all Tyrod's fault. I think we've seen that Tyrod is a solid starter, with strengths and weaknesses, he's not perfect, but he's middle of the pack and he won't lose you games but he can't win them on his own, either. We need more playmakers than Shady and literally only Shady now. If god forbid McCoy gets hurt, you've just lost your only viable HB and also WR. Oops. It doesn't seem like an impossible situation. You need to bring someone in. So who's it going to be? For RB, I don't see why they don't sign DeAngelo Williams to a one-year deal. They have cap room, he's a proven commodity, he'd come cheap, and he can catch. Why not? WR, either you get Anquan Boldin to come out of retirement, or you trade one of the 3rd round picks for someone. I don't know who. Feel free to make your recommendations. With all of the NYG receivers gone, we're unfortunately not the only one extremely desperate at the position. You tell me. Who can we get that can start at WR?
YoloinOhio Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 (edited) Braxton Miller could be available for trade. He's been inactive for Texans since Will Fuller came back. Brian Gaines was there when they drafted him in the 3rd.... might have an interest in bringing him here with our current situation. Could trade them Adolphus since they just lost Watt and Mercilus for the year. Texans DC Mike Vrabel also coached Adolphus in college for a year or two. He's not AJ green but he's fast and a different type of WR than we have now. Edited October 9, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Blokestradamus Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Braxton Miller could be available for trade. Well, that solves the running back issue
YoloinOhio Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 I don't know if this regime would have interest, but he's at least worked with TT @rapsheet Bears promoted wide receiver Tanner Gentry to active roster and released wide receiver Deonte Thompson.

I like deangelo a lot and he had monster games early last season in place of bell. I think they need some athletic pass catching tight ends. KC seems to have a factory so perhaps there is one stashed on their PS?
PromoTheRobot Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Anquan Boldin? Do I need to post video of the Ravens preseason game?

That's a great call yolo. Burner who probably played every day with TT for a few years. Maybe an upgrade over this other Clay
YoloinOhio Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 @christrapasso Ngata to IR creates another possibility if #Bills want to trade their highest-paid player: Marcell Dareus for Marvin Jones (& late pick?)
BuffaloHokie13 Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Well, that solves the running back issue He said Braxton Miller, not Jabrill Peppers
YoloinOhio Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 He said Braxton Miller, not Jabrill Peppers the Browns let Jordan Poyer walk, and then drafted that dude in the 1st to play safety.
Green Lightning Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Why don't we try Banyard before bringing others in?
Royale with Cheese Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 the Browns let Jordan Poyer walk, and then drafted that dude in the 1st to play safety. Factory of Sadness for eternity.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Why don't we try Banyard before bringing others in? ....these guys are going to utilize what is on the roster so yes, give Banyard a shot...forget DiMarco......I doubt you'll see any trades.....some said grab J Will off Denver's PS......they paid him $510,000...he'd go to the active 53, so somebody is odd man out....besides there was this tidbit from the Rap which may have put him on the outs with McD................ Williams does have some history of off-field and medical issues, so there may be something going on with him of which we're not entirely aware. Either way, his stock in Dynasty leagues has gone back in the basement as a street free agent. Sep 4 - 5:45 PM Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter

I was stunned at first with JWill being cut, but with him sitting on a PS it speaks to something else we don't know or something the rest of the league understands as well. Play Banyard and let's see what he can do.
