The Frankish Reich Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 (edited) No, he doesn't have a job. Barnidge is 32, and he wasn't ever in the top tier of TEs even in his prime. But come on, the guy had 55 catches, 11.1 YPC last year with the Browns! Did he kneel for the anthem or something? Edited October 9, 2017 by The Frankish Reich
Boatdrinks Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I think he wanted more $$ and maybe thought an injury might lead to a better deal than he could get in the offseason. They need a TE that can get deep

Domdab99 Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Sign him & A.J. McCaron !!! You should never post again
BillnutinHouston Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Yea he'll sign on the cheap now, as a favor to the Bills. (rolls eyes)
YoloinOhio Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Yea he'll sign on the cheap now, as a favor to the Bills. (rolls eyes) I am sure the Bills would go in with a higher offer now that their starter is out. If they want him.
ALF Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I'm ok with O'Leary and L. Thomas. The chance of this offense making it to the playoffs is slim
CSBill Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 SIgn him if affordable, but no need to overpay for a one-hit (year) wonder.
JM57 Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I'm ok with O'Leary and L. Thomas. You might be the only one
8-8 Forever? Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I think he wanted more $$ and maybe thought an injury might lead to a better deal than he could get in the offseason. They need a TE that can get deep looks like its time to pay him.
ALF Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 You might be the only one Do you think this offense could make the playoffs with Barnidge ? I'm doubtful Clay was a major loss , the only receiver beside Shady who had good chemistry with Taylor .
JM57 Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 (edited) Do you think this offense could make the playoffs with Barnidge ? I'm doubtful Clay was a major loss , the only receiver beside Shady who had good chemistry with Taylor . No, I don't, but I also don't want to watch an offense consisting of Zay Jones, Kaelin Clay, Andre Holmes, Brandon Tate, Nick O'Leary and Logan Thomas for the next 3-5 weeks if there are better options out there. Signing a free agent at this point of the season costs nothing but a negligible amount of cap space. Edited October 9, 2017 by JM57
K D Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Nick O'Leary doesn't wear gloves and Logan Thomas doesn't block. i think we are fine
Webster Guy Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I thought we should have drafted Ebron and then last year OJ Howard and they both seem pretty mediocre at best, so I lost my privileges to comment on TE's.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 This has the feel of a Percy harvin pickup. We'll sign him and he'll get injured the next day.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 ......maybe McD STILL has Philly Brown on speed dial..............
dollars 2 donuts Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Why is Barnidge not a Buffalo Bill as of this morning?
26CornerBlitz Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Why is Barnidge not a Buffalo Bill as of this morning? Getting him in by next week when they return to practice would be the move if it's going to happen.
John from Riverside Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Getting him in by next week when they return to practice would be the move if it's going to happen. Given the Clay situation this seems like the right move for the bills at this time....there was interest
