I reckon any of 12 or 13 QBs. You won't agree with them but frankly I don't care. I know what your agenda is. I'll be sure to check in on Thursday for your criticsm of Carson Wentz.

Wentz has been proving me wrong this year, making big plays and sustaining drives. His ball placement has improved a lot. Does he win the game against the Bengals today if we replaced Tyrod with him? It's possible. The way he's playing so far that's a borderline one for me. Wentz is throwing to Alston Jeffrey, Torrey Smith, and Nelson Agholor anyone of whom would be our #1 receiver. If you don't think that stuff matters I don't know what to tell you. He wouldn't have had 300 yards today throwing to our players. But since a couple more plays could have won it for us it's possible he makes them.

@mortreport

Don't know how this Chiefs-Texans turns out but I'll say it again - somebody is going to get fired over passing on @deshaunwatson

How Browns keep whiffing on QBs I don't know. They are snake-bitten.

Why does Reid have all his starters out there? Why expose Hunt to injury when they really could just take a knee??

Probably Belicheat school of thought. "let them play".

Smith is the exception that proved the rule in many ways. He took a long time to develop as an NFL passer. But he was horribly, horribly managed in SF. New OCs every week or so it seemed.

And he was stuck in an extremely conservative offense in KC the first few years, even under Andy Reid. Part of that is what the Bills are going through: a lack of weapons at WR/TE (the forgettable DeWayne Bowe was his best WR), and an offense in which the only big talent at a skill position was at RB. Add Kelce/Hill/Hunt and suddenly Smith can throw deep ...

Yes Wentz wins the game today. It was infinitely winnable. Tyrod might have had a sucky skill position crew - I agree he did. But with 3 takeaways and a huge punt return he also had excellent field position. He didn't get it done. Plenty of others would have. It wasn't a day where we started from our 10 every drive.

It really is amazing how quickly Reid turned that Chiefs team around. I envy that

He won a lot in Philadelphia too. For some reason he was always blasted on here. Not sure why. Hes better than 90% of NFL coaches.

DeShaun Watson has already learned what Tyrod hasnt in 7-8 year NFL career...sometimes you have to throw it up there and let your guys make a play.

4 TDs tonight for the terrible Watson.

You know what he does? He throws it.

Well, we can stop wondering if D Watson has the arm strength to play QB in the NFL. He's fine.

And that means we can consign that silly excel spreadsheet to history. Edited by GunnerBill

He gets brain cramps in the playoffs....

Lmao. If Tyrod did that what would we hear? "Garbage time stats". 100 threads on it.

Wake me up when we have Hopkins on this team.

I think it's just about certain that if we have the Eagles offense except Tyrod at QB we win the game today. I'm not nearly as certain that if we had Wentz running our offense today we would have won. That's the best way I can put it.

Wake you up? Well we had Watkins for a few years and you still rarely saw Tyrod throw it up to him. Not nearly enough to keep Sammy from complaining from lack of use. So pretty sure Tyrod hasnt no matter who his receivers are.
