JM2009 Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 http://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2017/10/08/buffalo-bills-cincinnati-bengals-week-5-no-passing-game/742725001/ "And they can’t throw it because guys such as Andre Holmes, Kaelin Clay, Zay Jones, and Brandon Tate have no business starting at wide receiver for the Bills, or any other team in the NFL with the possible exception of the Jets and Browns. It’s astounding how inept that foursome was Sunday, and has been all season. “We didn’t make enough plays on offense, and I take full responsibility for that one,” said quarterback Tyrod Taylor. “We had a bunch of opportunities, left some plays out there on the field. Just a sour taste after this.” Props to Taylor for shouldering the blame, and he is obviously part of the problem. His continued inability to make big throws in key spots hurts the Bills, but I’m not going to kill him for this game. He had no one to throw to. Time after time he would drop back — a season-high 43 times — and scan the field and no one was open. Seventeen of his 20 completions went to tight ends or backs, many of those on second or third reads."
RaoulDuke79 Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Well we sucked with last year's receiving core as well. What's the common denominator?
Scott7975 Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 That guy must not know what he is talking about. In all seriousness... Taylor was bad today but the Bills have to get better at receiver. Especially with two of his only real targets out.
Bangarang Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 How many threads are you going to make this point in?
Hurricane Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 How many threads are you going to make this point in? I truly don't know how anyone has faith in Taylor anymore..
JM2009 Posted October 8, 2017 Author Posted October 8, 2017 I truly don't know how anyone has faith in Taylor anymore.. No QB could succeed with this WR corp, with Matthews and Clay out.
LABILLBACKER Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Watching these scrubs try to run routes is embarrassing. Other than Tates great catch, this offense is unwatchable.
frostbitmic Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Saying one of these WRs could maybe start for the Browns or Jets is an unwarranted jab at those teams.
SaviorPeterman Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 No kidding, just like Tyrod Taylor has no business being an NFL starter.
Hurricane Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 No QB could succeed with this WR corp, with Matthews and Clay out. Give me a break.. this is the NFL man.. seriously..
JM2009 Posted October 8, 2017 Author Posted October 8, 2017 Give me a break.. this is the NFL man.. seriously.. Seriously? is what i say to your post. Wow.
Hurricane Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Seriously? is what i say to your post. Wow. They made the team didnt they?
26CornerBlitz Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Somehow this will also become a Tyrod Taylor thread. Rinse and repeat.
JM2009 Posted October 8, 2017 Author Posted October 8, 2017 Give me a break.. this is the NFL man.. seriously.. We'll switch Dalton's group of Wrs with ours. Guess who wins, and by a lot.
Scott7975 Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 They made the team didnt they? So did Reggie Bush last year. So did Vlad Ducasse this year. Making a team doesn't make them good players. It makes them players that are here by default.
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 they are an unwatchable, laughable bunch. Definitely the NFL's bottom of the barrel.
Bangarang Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Somehow this will also become a Tyrod Taylor thread. Rinse and repeat. Why wouldntt it? The entire point hes making is about Tyrod. Apparently the other several threads he made this point in wasnt enough.
Hurricane Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 So did Reggie Bush last year. So did Vlad Ducasse this year. Making a team doesn't make them good players. It makes them players that are here by default. Paired with a ****ty QB..
26CornerBlitz Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Zay Jones, Kaelin Clay, and Brandon Tate along with Nick O'Leary at TE made up the Bills' receiving corps today. Tough sledding without Matthews and Charles Clay as legitimate threats.
