YoloinOhio Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 (edited) @profootballdoc Bills TE Charles Clay is out at least a few weeks, perhaps more http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/profootballdoc/sd-sp-pfd-charles-clay-injury-knee-bills-1008-story.html By video, Clay suffered at least a MCL sprain, but there is worry for an ACL tear. Edited October 9, 2017 by YoloinOhio
GunnerBill Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 It looked like an ACL to me the way he went down. Hope very much I am wrong. MCL if torn is still 6-8 weeks.
SaviorPeterman Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 It looked season ending to me which sucks because he was finally emerging, but either way his loss for any amount of time ensure this offense looks even more horrendous than todays game. Time for Beane to make a move and prove we're not tanking. No excuse now with all the assets we have in place especially if this team truly fancies themselves a contender.
SaviorPeterman Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Ugh! This really hurts. True but I'm sure the worst is yet to come because it's simply the Buffalo way.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Is Gary Barnidge still looking for work?
YoloinOhio Posted October 8, 2017 Author Posted October 8, 2017 Gary Barnidge time? Not sure if he has anything left. I do like O'Leary's progress.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 @profootballdoc Bills TE Charles Clay is out at least a few weeks, perhaps more http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/profootballdoc/sd-sp-pfd-charles-clay-injury-knee-bills-1008-story.html Crap. There goes the offense.
MAJBobby Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 And now he loses his job. Seems with this new Bills team you can lose your job because of Injury
Call_Of_Ktulu Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 (edited) It looked like a season ending injury, I will be amazed if it's a sprain. We really need him back if Peterman starts after the bye. Edited October 8, 2017 by Call_Of_Ktulu
Real McClappy Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Gary Barnidge time? Not sure if he has anything left. @profootballdoc Bills TE Charles Clay is out at least a few weeks, perhaps more http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/profootballdoc/sd-sp-pfd-charles-clay-injury-knee-bills-1008-story.html Watching him on the sideline I was thinking ACL. I so hope I'm wrong though. O'Leary is not too shabby though.
Pbomb Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 already has bad knees, having a great year, a real shame from an unnecessary hit
YoloinOhio Posted October 8, 2017 Author Posted October 8, 2017 already has bad knees, having a great year, a real shame from an unnecessary hiti also thought the hit was dirty
Mark Vader Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Gary Barnidge time? Not sure if he has anything left. I do like O'Leary's progress. O'Leary played good today, and he's gotten better. I hope he can handle the starting job.
Big Turk Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Hopefully it is less serious...this is just a doctor who watches the games opinion on the injury...but he probably is right
LABILLBACKER Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Crap. There goes the offense. The offense was crap way before Clay went down.
Marv's Neighbor Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Crap. There goes the offense. I'm afraid that you may be right BUT the BILLS should have known how fragile he was. He missed a lot of practice time due to various injury type issues.
