The Frankish Reich Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 [re-posted from the closed thread] PFF offers the following Miller grades - 2015: 38.7 (awful by their scale) 2016: 77.8 (described as a "solid dependable player" and one of PFF's top 10 most improved 2nd year players) 2017 first 4 games: 39.1 (back to awful, the 64th highest guard rating so far this year ... and remember, there's, umm, 64 starting guards in the NFL) So maybe it isn't just "he's a Whaley guy." Maybe it is that we literally can't get any worse?
simpleman Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Does anyone have the stats on Miller, how is he rated at RG this year compared to the other NFL starters? Is he really that bad that we would start a horrible Vlad?
BobChalmers Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 (edited) Love McDermott but this is puzzling. I don't think our offense will be "good" until Castillo is gone Yeah - all I can say about this to cheer myself up is that McDermott will figure out he needs to improve and address with hopefully better coaching options in the off-season. He hired who he could get year 1. No one, I repeat NO ONE I have talked to down here in Ravens land was sad to see Castillo go. General consensus was "thank God he's gone". Ditto for Vlad. They're fairly happy with "run game coordinator and heir apparent OC" Greg Roman down here, btw. Edited October 9, 2017 by BobChalmers
Bangarang Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Looks like Miller is being phased out. Another wasted draft pick.
Captain Murica Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Looks like Miller is being phased out. Another wasted draft pick. Maybe trade him to LA for a pick or WR? Inman?
thebandit27 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 This is my favorite (of many) Vlad plays from Sunday: https://twitter.com/lockedonbills/status/917854494456762369 Though this one's a beaut too... https://twitter.com/lockedonbills/status/917853234420682753 Good grief: https://twitter.com/lockedonbills/status/917842511871270914 Any particular reason that you aren't sealing the edge here Vlad? https://twitter.com/lockedonbills/status/917839915337048064

Disgustingly bad play call.
thebandit27 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 When this qualifies as a good play, you're in bad shape: https://twitter.com/lockedonbills/status/917839108281651201

thebandit27 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 It's a freaking comedy with this guy: https://twitter.com/lockedonbills/status/917860041012711424

Coach Tuesday Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Again - if they're NOT trying to lose on purpose, I'm even more concerned.
Captain Murica Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Can anyone please tell me how Ducasse made it to the NFL and is able to stay?

Fixxxer Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Can anyone please tell me how Ducasse made it to the NFL and is able to stay? he was drafted by Rex Ryan and Tenembaun, that's all you need to know.
Captain Murica Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 he was drafted by Rex Ryan and Tenembaun, that's all you need to know. So he either likes feet or....... Yeah, I have no clue. But, watching him Sunday made me how can I put this? Very emotional.
tedstrong Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Mudge time! He looks ungainly, but I think he really played well and steady in pre season. He makes no mistakes.
Boatdrinks Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Can anyone please tell me how Ducasse made it to the NFL and is able to stay? I'm sticking with the theory that he possesses compromising photos of Castillo. It's about the only thing that makes sense.
